BP1960
Seemingly tired, funny how Walsall looked sharp after having the same number of games. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/footbaall/23558442 Edited August 10, 2013 by BP1960

Break The Silence
Suppose he's got to try to put some sort of positive spin on it. He could hardly say "That was toss. Thank :censored: I didn't have to pay to get in."
slystallone
He doesn't use the word "tired". I can't find a reference to being tired either? He's just stated a cd hard fact that it has been 3 games in a week and an intense week....?
BP1960
Positve post on the way from you tonight or should i log back on at another time? You will only get one positive from me, Tarkowski, the rest should be ashamed of themselves - including the manager and coaching staff. Ashamed? Behave. I cannot figure you out BP. Either you're too subtle a troll for me to "get" or you really do just need to lighten up. Ashamed? Really? OK. Ross2509
If you actually watched the interview LJ said that they looked tired but Walsall have played the same amount of games so it's no excuse. Instead of moaning and going off on one watch that interview and see for yourself. LJ has also said that we will be getting a player from the loan market. Thank :censored:! I'll lighten up when there's something to enthuse about, it seems to me no criticism is allowed of LJ or his coaching staff because they are good guys in the eyes of many. Those who constantly slate Connor Brown should of course carry on by all means. Edited August 10, 2013 by BP1960
jimsleftfoot
Walsall were a very good side who worked hard to contain us once they scored. We could have played better but there was some good bits and with a bit of luck, we could have had an equaliser.

It was bad today, but I think the kind of stuff you're coming out with is pretty unjustified for this stage of the season. You really think Smith, as one example, should be ashamed of himself? I think you should fella.

It was bad today, but I think the kind of stuff you're coming out with is pretty unjustified for this stage of the season. 2 league games in Joe. 2 games. The mind boggles sometimes. Show me a side who introduces 9 new signings into the 1st team squad; with the same number leaving, and with a new management team trying to change the whole footballing philosophy, who then start the season unbeaten with no hitches whatsoever along the way, and i'll show you a 12 year old kid playing on a computer game! There's work to do, that much is pretty darn obvious, but it's far from doom & gloom; and seeking out every single thread to preach the end is nigh is, after 2 friggin' games, basicially is laughable IMO. opinions4u
Sky's report: http://dlvr.it/3nGzjh I recently went on a managers course and we were shown all kinds of handballs. That was a stonewall and a banker. I mentioned it to the referee (Gary Sutton) afterwards and he told me that maybe it was a penalty. Maybe? Sweet Lordy! GoalDigger
Would you rather hear a ref admit it to the manager after the game? Kudos for (maybe) admitting he missed it but I think I'm more gutted now that he did.
