I've seen enough of Mellor to observe a player who has a lot more to his game and can only get better. Other than his 3 goals and 7 assists he has absolutely no end product. Actually, perhaps we could do with more players with Dayton's creativity...you should rewatch Walsall highlights. His pass for MacDonald's chance shows exactly what he can, and does, do. It's madness to think that Mellor is a better winger. They play totally different positions.
