Sorry if this is posted anywhere else but is he injured?

I thought he might be, he looked to have taken a nasty knock to his hand/wrist against Rotherham. But now I'm less sure, as I thought Rabuchka was at fault for the Crewe goal. However, him being on the bench doesn't mean he isn't injured, as GK can be struggling with an injury but because they rarely come on can still be on the bench.

Oxley for me, I think he would have kept a clean-sheet today too, and I don't think he'd have been caught out by Crewe's 93rd minute corner either. He has noticeably improved since the start of the season too, don't think the same could be said of Rachubka, in fact I'd be tempted to say the opposite.

rachubkas started 5 conceded 3 thats good enough for me let oxley make his mistakes and learn his trade at his own club, back up for me now this season.

Look at how many dangerous crosses Rabs came out for at crewe. Do you really think oxley would have collected one of them? No he wouldn't. If your not going to command your 6 yard box you will concede a lot of goals. Rabs can collect crosses and made 2 great saves again today.

He was at fault for their goal?! It was a great delivery but you got to point the finger at the man marking for it.

Rabs all day for me would be very happy him being number 1 next season.

I wasn't at Crewe, but the ball goes past him when his back was turned towards the far post for the goal, I'm not saying Wilson isn't blameless for his part in the goal but Rachubka should do better, and I think Oxley would have done. Look how many crosses Rachubka didn't come for today, he even got a bollocking from Connor Brown over one. The major one he came for wasn't his and he clattered into Wilson and dropped the ball, more times than not the opposition score from that sort of error.

It was his all day to collect ball hung in the air. The fact he took out his own man shows he is more than able to deal with it. Games like that are difficult for keepers especially the wind he definitely gives his defence a lot more security. Like yard dog 73 said why should we be giving a kid from hull game time for him to make mistakes. Waste of a wage.

On that basis you never make any loan signings, silly comment.

But he still dropped it. I'd rather have a GK that supposedly doesn't come for crosses (something that I think is a load of Bull), than one who comes and drops them.

Dont think Rachubka commanded his box today. Crawley should have equalised with that point blank free header from a cross that he allowed to sail all the way from the right wing to the back post in the 6 yard box. Not really knocking him too much but think Oxley gets a bit too much grief for 'not coming off his line'

what about oxley parrying weak shots into the path of incoming strikers like he did for the first against rotherham, hardly fills the defence with confidence rachubkas a better talker and more importantly the defence seem a bit more solid with him behind them, ox best game was gills at home where he was superb but on the whole home and away other than 2 great penalty stops he's been dissapointing, if LJ is playing what maybe his back 5 for next season then im more than happy with that.

I reckon we may not see him start again this season unless injury strikes. LJ maybe looking to next season playing Rabs. Just a thought!

Perhaps there was a clause in the loan contract that he had to play a certain number of games and hat number has now been passed.

Always interesting to read people goalkeeping assessments.

With a keeper if you have never played the position is very difficult to critic. If you've played outfield you have a general overview of each position and are able to comment from a good starting point.

If you have never played in goal as a keeper (not just the crap outfield player that went in for his mates) it is very difficult to comment. It is such a technical/specialist position that is hard to understand!
