No in all seriousness, whilst I think we could have let the Columbian's two goals in, I presume that we've taken legal advice not to, as his goals were omitted from the national competition a few months ago too. Eh? On what basis would legal advice say that? i haven't seen any suggestion that the entire Stevenage defence was on the take! PR advice maybe... PR advice maybe... You can't fire someone for serious misconduct because they've besmirched your reputation, amongst other things, and then give them an award. rosa
I kind of like how we're erasing him, Stalin-style,from our history. Don't go taking any holidays in Mexico, Cristian.

Of course you can;, it's not as if his removal had anything to do with it. There's not the slightest doubt it was goal of the season; don't blame them for airbrushing him out though Edited April 27, 2014 by Dave_Og

keep_the_faith
Smiths at Orient for me for two reasons. Quality of the strike and the euphoric 90th minute celebrations
jimsleftfoot
I though before seeing the vid that Montano stevo goal was going to be the stand out winner stand out the winner, but I don't think it is after seeing them again. Smith V Mansfield and Winchesters are both crackers.
jsslatic
Smith v Mansfield. Control in the run and then to skip past his man was fantastic and then a beaut of a finish. Pure class. Plus that game was utter :censored:e and it was the only moment of quality.
philliggi
Winchesters for me. Not just the finish either. Might not have been as long a run as smiths but he beat a couple and the finish was a pearler!

JoeLatics
Montano's was good to be sure, but I certainly wouldn't say it's the best... 2 or 3 better out of those for me! As for the best, has to be Harkins' for sheer class for me.
the_mighty_bosh
Harkins Vs Preston. Perfecting such a difficult skill that not many other people could do makes the difference for me.

He also pulled it out against the run of play. Gave us a bit of enjoyment out of an otherwise poor result at home.
LaticsChris
Winchester's was a lot better than I remembered. I remembered it as a bit of a fluke, but there's no doubt he was looking to stick it up out of the keeper's reach there. Pop bang lovely. Winchester's goal was outrageous, they would be creaming themselves over the finish if Yaya Toure had hit it.
