pukka
Whilst I am not a fan of the drum, I do applaud your efforts but.. this saturday we are 500 in a stand which will have 3000+ Bristol fans. No drum. The last thibg we need is if they start singing the same tune "lee johnsons blue and white army" for example - the drum will only make it louder for them. This week, please don't take it. Think about it. If that has been mentioned previously fair enough.. I cant be arsed looking through pages to see if it has. Omar Don't Scare
I disagree, take it. I was your biggest critic well one of many but you're trying your best and it has a positive effect. If it's not broke.... don't fix it
Chaddy_Ender
We are taking it, its been every game and friendly so why not ? We plan on singing for 90 minutes win lose or draw and although it may encourage the atmoshere in the Bristol end why should we stop getting behind the team ? pukka
If we were in a different stand, I'd agree it would generate our atmosphere, but we are massively outnumbered in the same stand.
c.hill12
If we were in a different stand, I'd agree it would generate our atmosphere, but we are massively outnumbered in the same stand. Not sure how that matters. We sing our songs and get behind our lads no matter where we're sat. The drum can be heard anyway.
pukka
No point in my trying to convince anyone otherwise. If you take it and I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If I'm right - you do have the opportunity to stop drumming I suppose.
JoshOWTB
No harm in trying. We'll be singing much louder than all their fans when they are losing.
TheBigDog
Can you let me know what row and seat number for the drummer? As much as I like it, I don't want to be sat too close... Edited October 29, 2014 by TheBigDog
Danny Mck
Still can't believe we'll be sat in the Ateyeo. Will definitely need 24hoursfromTulseHill's special Rola Cola Fizzy Pop to maintain Dutch Courage if we really are to sing for 90 minutes. Chaddy_Ender
Back row if we dont have to sit in our allocated seats.
brierleys555
have fun and bang that drum till your ears bleed
TheBigDog
Back row if we dont have to sit in our allocated seats. Given that we have sold out, it's likely that we may have to sit in allocated seats methinks.
Chaddy_Ender
Given that we have sold out, it's likely that we may have to sit in allocated seats methinks. methinks too but I hope not it makes more sense for those who want to stand and sing to be at the back and those that like a seat and a sing to be lower down, as a rule Bristol let the fans at the back of the blocks stand so im hoping they leave us to it. Handsy
Hopefully they won't be singing as we play them off the park
Danny Mck
I wouldn't worry about that. 500 packed in the Ateyeo - either none of us sing or all of us sing. Consider the latter assumed.
pukka
Their fans didnt sing so the drum did help. I'm glad it went
Flemboy
The drummer helped to make a great atmosphere. He was the lsat one back on our coach..Superb fans yesterday.Just a pity we could not put any of our chances away especially that shot from Poleon ,then we really would have gone mental there.Still we were not disgraced/outclassed and now lets concentrate on getting back to winning ways again. Lags
The Atmosphere created yesterday and around Latics games in general this season, can be directly linked to this group for me. So well done. One of these days we will get that Swindon game matched. Those that were there that day will never forget it.

I dont think it was a million miles off that to be honest, thats if we are thinking of the same game? Yellow shirts, boiling day, i think JJ and murray may have scored? That really was an unbelievable day out, one of my all time favourite away games!
