NewBlue
We're closer to Yeovil point-wise than we are to Preston... The top 4 won't be caught, we're fighting it out for 5th and 6th so I hope those at the top win every match they play, excluding against us (it pains me to hope MK win). Chaddy_Ender
Lee Johnson is there. He's just seen Ebanks-Blake level it. Im suprised he is there with us having Notts County at home at the end of the month.
NewBlue
There's no team to fear in the pack chasing the playoffs. The best one of the lot I've seen were Chesterfield, and that was by a long way, but since then they lost their best player on the day, Daniel Johnson, and look like they could have interest from clubs for Eoin Doyle. Early in the season I'd have said I'd be happy just to be mid-table, now I'd be disappointed if we didn't get 6th or above, such is the level we've shown we're able to consistently produce. If we were that good, we'd be in those places already. I think we can have a go at the play-offs, but if you offered me a top ten finish now I'd take it for sure. Especially after the last five or six years below 15th.
Clifford
Forte's knee is gone and we've no loan players in. 10th would be nice.

Alternatively, if we'd been able to play tonight or on 29th we could in those places by now. Striking distance and games in hand. We're very much in the mix. Especially with all the sides around us to play at BP.

It's to the same effect. It's also unlikely that we're going to retain our best players to have a team we can build upon. Every season is now or never for the play offs when you think about it in that way. Having seen how we've performed I'd be disappointed alone just to finish below the likes of Bradford, Port Vale, Fleetwood, Dale, Peterborough, Doncaster etc. which we inevitably would be the case if we finish outside the play off spots Edited January 20, 2015 by NewBlue
the_mighty_bosh
The fact that Yeovil got a point tonight is a minor miracle (and/or that Preston were crap). They only had 1 fit centre-back so played a striker alongside him, had 4 full backs in the starting XI with 2 of them playing as wingers as they had none, and of the 5 players on the bench 2 of them were 'keepers! Scapegoat
Whilst any team can nose dive / go on a wonderful run, it does look like the Top 4 will be the Top 4 come the end of the season. Below that there are probably 8-10 teams that will fight it out over the next 20 games or so to finish between 5th and 12th. I fully expect us to finish in that pack based on the performances (and to a lesser extent the results) this season. We are on course to get 65 point this season at the moment - which will be short of what is needed for the play-offs but our best return since Sheridan in 2008/09. To get into the Play-offs I think we will beed 70-75 points. Potentially if the Top 4 can hoover as many points up as possible then it might be the lower end of that range we require and then its possible that we might sneak 6th. SavageTheBeast
At the other end of the table i think teams will need more then 50 to stay. Normally at this stage someone is cut adrift but its all tight. Everything looks like it will come down to the final day
Monty Burns
If we were that good, we'd be in those places already. Ref gives a blatant foul on Mills- penalty. We either draw or win. Ref gives a blatant foul on Rachubka or doesnt play on after the foul in our own box we win. At least 3 and quite concievebly 5 extra points we should have puts us in those places. OR we have played the same amount of games as those in those places and are there anyway. Lighten up a bit Grumps.

A strong second-half of the season, and we'd have a real chance next season.
