Quink delivery?

Have any bottles been delivered?

Needed - hopefully - for the five signatures on renewal contracts today.

Don't know about the quink but I do believe a box load of quills were delivered early this morning in anticipation for a flurry of activity.

The problem with quills is that they're pretty ineffective without (qu)ink. Now, if someone could invent, say, a ball point pen with the ink already inside, the possibilities are endless.

A chap called Lazslo Biro once had an idea about that, don't know if he went anywhere with it though

Quink used to get everywhere except the piece of paper it was supposed to go on, the blotting paper soaked in quink made great pellets for firing at the back of heads.

Sitting at the back was the safest place in those circumstances; you had the perfect view of some other poor sod getting "quinked".

Did we go to the same school or was it rife wherever you were and how many times did your Mum ask why you had blue dots all over your bonce?

Early memories of having a pen that used to draw up the quink into a sac inside the pen, but the 70's brought about the disposable cartridges that used to screw into the pen.

The ink wells although now redundant were still used for storing ammo.
