johnm1969 Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 Thanks for the welcome..much appreciated....Was on to get some insight on Chris Porter..as you can imagine we are gaining we hope a good striker but at a bad loss for yourself financially. I have the greatest sympathy in that department as my team have been hit on more than one occassion by players moving on Bosmans or cross border for nowt...it gets really upsetting seeing players your team has nurtured moving for nothing...the rules stink..I believe you should be compensated financially but like us we get nothing for all the effort we put into these players. I don't know if our respective chairmen get the blame for not writing some sort of compensation plan into contracts like getting their next signing on fee as compensation or a guarantee that the player will not move without a guarantee some sort of compensation being paid to the club.
