It would have been pocketed or wasted on shite If we could have sold a player for enough to pay off the loan, theoretically we could have then played Leutwiler and McGahey from the start of the season (barring injuries) and more youngsters. And have scope to bring players in in January. We kept a player who we can't play from the start because of the embargo anyway. I'm pretty sure any money from sales automatically goes to the loan so couldn't be pocketed or wasted... although that's probably the main reason for them not selling Vaughan.
