1177 now 30 signatures off overtaking the "Sack Adam Crozier from Royal Mail" petition.

Has anyone had a response from the Oldham Chron? I have emailed them 3 times now and not had a response

Can I ask that whoever is in charge of the Petition to No. 10 explains to the Council what it is about and sends a link to it to:

planning@oldham.gov.uk

and

jim.bennett@oldham.gov.uk

so that the number of signatures can be taken into account as part of this new consultation process on the revised outline planning application.

No problem will do it today. We have now hit 8th place and 1219 signatures. Now about to overtake the Brian Clough petition

this seems to have gone a bit flat, we need one big push before the 11th. would a hand written petition, with names gathered outside Boundary park at the Crewe, Luton and Doncaster games add to the petition? or would it be taken as two seperate petitions? with three games before now and the meeting, we have a great opportunity to add at least another 100 signitures to it, when you consider the amount of people who do not have internet access, do not use the message boards etc, and you also have to think of away fans who will gladly sign for us. I think its worth doing, might be a bit short notice to organise it for tommoro, but certainly the luton and doncaster games could get done.

Anyone agree?

would need volunteers to stand outside BP, walk round the pubs befroe the game etc, surely it could be done?

I'm not sure about 8th place, more like 158th place this morning. But that's still a brilliant effort! 1,275 signatures now. We should be telling everyone - letters to the Chron, BBC news, MEN, the council, Advertiser, etc etc. It's unusual for purely local petitions to get that high that quickly. See if you can get a letter about it published. It all puts more pressure on the councillors for the 11th.

1293 this morning. We're above the Melton Mowbray bypass, and the Cornish Bank Holiday on March 5th, but below the knighthood for the late Brian Clough.

So, if you haven't signed yet, do it today! And persuade someone else at work to sign it too.

Then write to all the Planning Committee members and tell them how many signatures we have at 10 Downing St.
