Bertie_Dugger
Looks exciting and really proves that a set of inward looking people were wrong to try and prevent this from happening. This should be a benefit for new Latics supporters for years to come. Make it happen TTA.
oafc-benn
http://www.oldhamathletic.premiumtv.co.uk/...1189009,00.html Has anyone noticed the Rocky Rd End looks like it has a back section being built on it with seperate roof. Diego_Sideburns
have tta applied for permission to paint all the objectors houses white? In the image in the link below, they're shown in grey, but what it does not show is that the residents' homes are separated from the car park by 8ft high fencing. They can only see BP (and the apartments in due course) from their upstairs rear windows. Of course some are bungalow dwellers who don't have an upstairs. http://www.propertyweek.com/Pictures/460xA...dhamstadium.jpg P.S. Have you noticed the pedestrian walkway from Hilbre Avenue to the turnstiles at first floor level of the new Main Stand - a bit like the approach to Wembley! Diego_Sideburns
Naturally in the detailed application, the lower part of the apartment blocks will be in tangerine bricks and the higher part in blue bricks.
Markoasis
............. see a few football pitches off the Clayton will be going! There is no chance this many flats will fit into little Wembley / car park / Clayton arms space> Didn't realised pitches where going..... Don't make jokes like that, you'll have the people on Carlton Way thinking it is true.
ghostofcecere
Right I know I'm biased but how the hell can the local residents not think this this is going to make the area more attractive. If anything their house prices will go up as it will be one of 'the' places to live in the borough.
Diego_Sideburns
Don't make jokes like that, you'll have the people on Carlton Way thinking it is true. But when they're consulted on the details and find that it's not as bad as they feared, they'll be queueing up to support the next application. Senor_Coconut
Wow, for the first time the size of this development has hit me, amazed how they can fit that much in the area.

The Chaddy looks roofless on the pictures The images on the official site definately show some sort of change to the back of the rochdale road end. Seems to have a back similar to that of the new main stand. Looks as though they may make change so that it doesnt stand out compare to the rest of the stadium....
