Apparently he's great at running in behind, and can also play in the hole. -

That can't be his real name surely -
Playing Squad - Summer 23

Norman Yarney Hogan Kitching Sheron Rooney Reid Nuttall All good enough for a promotion chasing team I reckon. A quality ball playing midfielder, a right back, a couple of wingers and probably another striker should be the priority to bring in. Could be an interesting summer -

Whatever happened with the assault? All seemed to go quiet -
Can you expand on this for once? How is a fanbase that has seen their club finish in the top 6 twice in almost 35 years, and not finish top half in 15 years, "entitled"? Are they entitled for wanting better than the absolute bare minimum that they've seen for 3 decades? It's not an unpopular opinion, it's just utter bollocks

I don't think any goal should be discounted. They all count. We've struggled down the years for people who could take penalties or score tap ins -

Yeah he's been a disappointment, don't really see what he brings to the side at all. Like Lee says above, might be a better shout a right back, but I certainly haven't seen anything to justify the hype from Hartlepool fans -

That's fair, and I'd agree with that. I do think he suffers from not having a consistent striking partner though, if we could get him and Reid playing together consistently i think we'd start to see the benefit of having him in the side more. But i do agree he needs to improve -

I think this is the key point, really. On Saturday I thought he played reasonably well, occupied their centre halves and played some nice lay offs but unfortunately he doesn't have players good enough around him to take advantage of the space he creates. Was quite surprised to see the stick he was getting on here after the game Not every player has to put a Paul Warne-esq shift in. -

I think he's referring to the 4 currently available tbf I agree Nuttall hasn't been great but I think there's a player there if we can get him and Reid playing together consistently. Unfortunately I think a lot of fans have already made their minds up about him. Someone on here called him our worst ever player at weekend which is mind boggling -

Nuttall has been really good tonight. Hope he can build on this -

I like him, he'll be frustrating at times but he's very direct and always tries to beat the full back. Just needs to work on his crossing -

Enjoyed their commentary, they genuinely seem excited to be playing Oldham Tidy finish by Nuttall -

With Reid out personally I'd be bringing in Rooney as a number 10, they look so much better when he's able to come infield and make things happen -

No promotion in 30 years. No top half finish in 15 years. Currently at our lowest point in history. God forbid fans get a bit impatient for a bit of success eh?
