Oldham will gave a Championship reserve keeper on trial tonight. As they wait on Sunderland deciding on Stryjek loan.
Matt Chambers says Kyle Lethern is in goal and Gyamfi Kyeremeh (#17) from the Girona game will both be involved tonight.
Matt Chambers @Matt_Chambers Hearing that Kyle Letheren will be in goal for #oafc tonight against United's under-23s. Not sure what that means re Niklas Bolten...
Matt Chambers @Matt_Chambers Mystery trialist from Girona game, who I imagine will be involved tonight, is a Belgian winger by the name of Gyamfi Kyeremeh.
A sad loss of a lovely man, great character with a heart of gold. Will sadly be missed by OAFC and my thoughts go out to Gordon's family at this extremely difficult time. Lofty
I remember being at a Latics reserve game towards the end of "Killers" Oldham playing career. I was sat next to Joe and Willie, when "Killer" got lobbed with a great ball and Joe's words we're "oh no, I've seen the Queen Mary turn quicker than that". Brian "Killer" Kilcline was gone by the end of that week, with no mention of cars..........
It has been mentioned on Twitter by one of the backroom staff at Leicester that now Llandro Martis has signed for them he will be going to Oldham on loan until January. Don't :rifle:the messenger. Lofty
Left Back.
We had Charles Dunne (ex-Blackpool, released in June) play last night in the Lancashire Senior Cup as a trialist, he won "man of the match" on the night. Maybe there's a deal to be done here. No sign of Connor Brown at all. Lofty

Paul Arnold Garita (with less hair) from Bristol City, did OK. Better than Cassidy (but that doesn't take much). Paul Green and the No: 4 that came we're both class, sign them up. Lofty
Tonight's trialist was Liandro Martis after a very lot of searching (found him), very quick on the ball, beat most of the PNE players easily and scored a wonder goal from 30 yards, sign him up. Lofty

From what I know as a previous supplier to OAFC when the 3x Amigo's took over, was that Corney was just the junior partner of the 3 man team and when I had contact with any of them he appeared to be the other two's gopher. I was totally amazed (and still am) that he became chairman when Blitz and Gazal left OAFC. I'm not sure of Corney's wealth situation but in my head if any money has been put into the club over the last few years it has come from the other two (or someone else) and not Corney personally. I always looked at him as being the poor member of the 3x man team and I believe he's not a brilliant or successful businessman himself, but has been fortunate enough to be involved with Blitz and Gazal from the early days in London and then in America. Just my thoughts as he's always having to jet back to the USA for some reason or another.
