Be it 17 or 18 league games without a win I think the point oafc21 is making is against a team with that record anyone from this division would be disappointed not to come away with a victory. Personally,to be going into the home leg of a two-legged tie with only a goal deficit is a result in my eyes,even if it is only against Chesterfield.

For all his faults he's scored a couple & created three or four assists in recent weeks yet still doesn't get a start(other than at Chesterfield where PD rested a few).He must be a tad bemused.

Not really though is it? An ageing,past his best,less than prolific striker who wasn`t offered an extension to his contract isn`t really the same as a striker who was banging in the goals for fun who cost the club hundreds of thousands of pounds due to his & his agents greediness.

Chris Porter-nuff said! I would wager Chris Taylor would feature as other team`s most hated player in our division.

In our league its probably Martin Allen,but give it time once Westley has flexed his muscles and is more well known in our division.Certainly in non-league circles Westley and as mentioned above the Crawley manager Steve Evans are despised by many for being first class pricks.

I thought Tom had a superb game,one of our top performers on the night & playing out of position. Well done lad!

Yep,I`ll be in the Midland which is opposite the Central station(about two mins walk from Lime Street statinoaround the corner)early afternoon.There`s plenty of good boozers around this area,I just chose this one as a good starting off point as it sells cheap ale & offers on doubles!

Am sure it'll all be sorted in time for tomorrow's game,but if Wes is still out & Tom isnt back Simpson would probably fill in in the middle,Tarky on the bench.

Robson always seems to have a good game against us espec when he was at Hartlepool.My Carlisle supporting mate reckons he`s had a poor season this year though.They`re cacking their pants at the moment as most of their better players are out of contract at the end of this season,similarly to ours in Furman,Lee,Taylor & Wes.

I`m unsure about Winchester,but he`s a young lad & only played in a handful of games so will only get better.As for Paul Black,he`s clearly not up to the standard required and needs replacing at the end of this season,harsh but fair I think.IMO Diamond & Clarke are capable L1 centre halves but neither of them are commanding with an air of assurance,say for example the way Gregan was.Reallistically though given our budget we`re unlikely to get someone in much better.I`d be looking at the likes of Michalik at Carlisle at the end of this season,who is one of several of their players out of contract.

Chicken & Chilli or Steak & Pepper? Er..Kuqi for the way he had such an immediate impact on & off the pitch,his goals,his attitude,his importance to our style of play,his presence & his intimidating glare!

From what I've seen of them recently they seem a bit one dimensional and don't have much of a Plan B if things aren't going their way.That said,I expect us to get a right royal humping.

I love football,Latics every home game & as many away games as I can,more this season with there being more northern teams in our division.I went to see Fleetwood play when Gregan made his debut as Latics were away & would probably go again just to get my footy fix.I also manage a Sunday team so you can say the whole weekend & some nights in-between is devoted to football. That said,I couldn't give a shiny :censored: about the England team with it's overpaid,overhyped,bed-hopping "stars"

No doubts of his ability tho even if we could afford his wages I believe we're more than adequately blessed with wingers

The only games where I have deep regret having missed them were the game where Carlo Corrazin scored four and missed a penalty at home to Wrexham,think we won 5-0 but not sure.The mrs somehow had me by the short and curlies so I ended up shopping that afternoon.The other game was the Scunny away game where Gary Mac scored that late late goal against nine men.Can't remember if it was the winner or an equalizer but I was proper gutted to have missed that game with all the drama.Again I was with the mrs but searching the length and breadth of Kaunas,Lithuania to find a bar with Soccer Saturday on,but to no avail.
