It's always good to get a game vs a Premier League side, first XI or not. Should give our lads a decent challenge and bring a few in through the gates.
Wish we could do it every week in the leag.. No, wait.
Instead of starting from the ground-up and vastly improving grassroots and coaching, the FA want to barge-in half way through the process, ruining the integrity of 72 team-strong and envy of the world Football League.
I wouldn't want to pay him (what I expect would be a very healthy wage) if he's going to be losing his legs/perma-injured/knackered.
Plus, if he's not good enough for Bradfud...
What a ridiculous and long-winded way to try and improve the national team.
Unfortunately the FA can't stick a foreign player cap on the Premier League because a. The EU won't allow it, and b. It'd mean standing up to the Premier League.
Great stuff.
Tadcaster Albion play in the Northern Counties East League (Prem), step 5 of non-league, and the ground is next to the John Smiths brewery, just off the A64. (I'm a non-league nerd).
Lol Porter.. Can you imagine that phone call?
"Hi Chris, it's Lee Johnson. How do you fancy a game at back at Boundary Park? New start and all that?... Hello? Chris?"
Were clearly covered for young 'one for the future' strikers, it's a shame Charlie Mac couldn't keep injury-free/in form and push them on more.
Wonder if we bring in another striker Turner will go out on loan to get some more games.
Looks like Mills has gone back to Burnley after his loan deal to Shrewsbury. I doubt he'll be in BFC's Premiership plans so hopefully he'll fancy another stint with us.
