He added: "I don't think it will change because they don't want it to and probably the majority of fans don't want it either.
This is the quote that bothers me. The vast majority of England couldn't give a :censored: what colour the captain was.
Have to say, the huge round of applause and standing ovation from the main stand when the referee finally gave us a decision was fantastic. Probably the highlight of the night.
When you see the decent sides come to BP, you notice just how quick they get bodies forward into attacking positions when they break.
It's no wonder we struggle to score. When we get the ball lumped forward to our strikers they are swamped by defenders and snubbed out.
Feel sorry for Stead.
I've got nothing against the man personally, but what the hell is the Dunfield signing all about? We've got experienced heads in the dressing room (MacDonald, Lockwood, Harkins etc) and I can't see him making any more of a positive impact than blooding the likes of Winchester and Mellor.
God only knows what LJ's preferred first XI are.
Appalling first half.
Much better effort second half, Harkins (as per), Dayton, JCH, Charlie Mac, Wes worked hard.
Time for a best XI to take us to the end of the season.
Touché with that pic. However the ones that were on tv the other week (might have been Football Focus, can't remember) had a lower bar and a clearer sat-down view.
Really glad a club is going forward with this.
Quite like the Raspberry shirt, and the pink merchandise seems to have sold well amongst the fairer sex at BP. Would be wise IMO to keep it as a 3rd kit in future seasons.
Part of the problem is that a lot of the season ticket seats don't have a 'Season Ticket' sticker on them. I sit in the Main Stand Lower, and if I can't get to my usual seat it's a bloody nightmare finding another one.
I can see Brentford being able to establish themselves as a Championship side. And, as is the way of the world, it'd push the competition. I wouldn't mind seeing Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday back in League 1.
