    There was more time for individually skillful players show their arts then. Try doing what they did when a team of super fit athletes is pressing like they do now. When Barrett and Warhurst were around there were several competitive sprinting competitions in training, Ian Marshall won them all.

    That would be true of me. I left a few minutes early and I've done that three times since I first went in 1966. To be fair I had to stay to the end with my Dad in those early years.

    Can't really imagine who would be there to see us beat Liverpool but decide not to bother going t see Everton in the next round. Oh well, ancient history. Tomorrow's more important now.
