    I agree with Monty. It's one thing when it's Yeovil away and the vast majority aren't going to go anyway, but if it's mid-December, and we're playing some garbage team at home and it's freezing and raining, people will be tempted to just pay a tenner and stay in rather than go to the game.

    Daft to dismiss it out of hand. It can be a very useful tool in many ways: the quality of the chances being created; whether a team is wasteful or clinical.

    I'm kind of with oldhamoafc on this. He's alright, probably gets less grief cause he runs around a lot and is a grafter. He does the simple things well enough, and if he had better players around him, he'd do a job. If he's going to be our main central midfielder this season though, we're going to struggle.

    Very easy to forget he's only 22. Shouldn't be throwing him to the dogs, put an arm round his shoulder and get him back playing.

    Season starts Saturday. Winding up isn't until later in the month. No brainer.

    Yep. I'd be much more confident if we were going into Saturday with a system that featured JBx2. But if Byrne's off, there's a lot on Baxter and there has to be doubts about how fit he's going to be after time out - he certainly won't be playing every game.

    Decent record for a teenager in his first season last year. I haven't been to any friendlies, but I have slight concerns that we're going to be a team of workaholics lacking creativity and be a bit boring to watch.
