I'm a bit flabbergasted that anyone doesn't appreciate the last two home games. OK I accept the quality isn't great, but I think we have seen a team really stand up to the task at hand, be rock solid and really seem to care about trying (and unfortunately falling short) of winning games of football. If you can't find any joy at all in the last 2 games, how on earth have you stuck with it for the last 5 years??? I honestly think some fans are so messed by the shit we've had had to endure that they aren't able to see the wood from the trees. Please Spanishfly and other like you. Stick with it. You don't deserve the destination, if you can't stomach the journey. Please don't take this overly personally although I did directly quote you

I also agree that Season ticket prices do need to go up a fair whack. Would certainly help to land this with the punters if we could sneak up through the playoffs

Great Post. 100% agree. Christ some oldham fans are living on planet Zorg. 5PM is doing a very good job. We are on track to be in the playoffs. If he was here from the start we'd be comfortably top 3. He has added a steel to us that gives us a decent shout in the playoffs. OK its not pretty at times, but you know what, we just need promotion.

Although I can't argue with a lot of the criticism of the quality on show. I quite enjoyed the game. Wasna good battling performance against a certain solid outfit. Certainly indeed that we are showing a bit of mental strength at the minute. Obviously the next few games are crucial. Would be great if chesterfield could have it tied up before they play us.

Agree, it has to be Fondop and one of Norwood/Garner. Obvs that's only based on one game of Norwood/Garner but it was absolutely terrible. I can't see them working together at all.

Disagree. Football fans spending good money following their team should be given the best possible view of the action (within the limits of sensible segregation) Not shoved as far away as possible. I would strongly support new rules to this effect. Unfortunately I'm sure this is usually on the back of some safety liaison nonsense blah blah blah.

Nah 12 quid these days is nowt. Low attendance was down to tinpottery of the opposition/competition and weather. Oh and because we have pit some dreadful performances in of late.
