    Although I can't argue with a lot of the criticism of the quality on show. I quite enjoyed the game. Wasna good battling performance against a certain solid outfit. Certainly indeed that we are showing a bit of mental strength at the minute. Obviously the next few games are crucial. Would be great if chesterfield could have it tied up before they play us.

    Whilst I agree Hammond is lightweight, think we can develop him into a very good player. Surely gaining a bit of heft is easy.

    Agree, it has to be Fondop and one of Norwood/Garner. Obvs that's only based on one game of Norwood/Garner but it was absolutely terrible. I can't see them working together at all.

    Disagree. Football fans spending good money following their team should be given the best possible view of the action (within the limits of sensible segregation) Not shoved as far away as possible. I would strongly support new rules to this effect. Unfortunately I'm sure this is usually on the back of some safety liaison nonsense blah blah blah.

    Nah 12 quid these days is nowt. Low attendance was down to tinpottery of the opposition/competition and weather. Oh and because we have pit some dreadful performances in of late.

    Interesting to see how our midfield does without Sheron. Think we'll miss him, but hopefully have enough for the three points. Hoping Gardner starts.

    As others have said, if the referee stops play due to a head injury the player should have to leave the field for x mins. Maybe x = 5 ?

    Couldn't disagree more about McGahey. Thought he did really well still marshall the play even from CB!! When he brought the ball forward we basically had an extra man in the middle. I'd be sticking with and telling him to keep driving us forward.

    Thought we played ok today and comfortably looked the better team. Freeman gave us much better balance (once the rustiness lifted) I wouldn't change that back 4 now. We need a forward like Nuttall but better. We need a winger like Green but better. Hope wont lose his spot in this team now, been impressed with him. Unlucky not to win that. On to the next !

    Will be a bit sad not to be in the Fa cup proper for the 1st time in ....how ever many years it is.
