    What difference is Philliskirk going to make? I find it hard to understand the hard-on that people on here have for him as a coach. Our terrible run of form has continued while he's been involved with the first team set up.

    Taylor had a lot of success using his pace to get on the end of Smith's flick ons. I agree.

    Looks like the new chief exec is making his mark. Looks about 18 and interviewer suggests past experience entails editing a magazine, running a coaching set up owned by Gus Hiddink. Sounds like an amateur to me.

    I know this point has probably been made before but why can't the club use an online booking system? Asking fans to queue up in the cold in this day and age when we're all online is a piss take in my opinion. I thought I'd have to miss the match but a friend came to the rescue.

    great to get a win today and see we're doing well but I fear for us losing Baxter and Derbyshire for the rest of the season. Our attacking options are pretty weak with only Simpson and Smith in reserve.

    Black and Mellor are the weak link - both have absolutely no crossing ability and are indecisive when defending.

    There's only 16 players in first team, and that's what City youth players will never get under 'money no object' regime, first team football. Who cares if they have a :censored: load of pitches?

    Silly mistake for their goal but glad we were resolute and had the will to get back into the game. There weren't chances galore but the ones we did have we took well, which is always a good thing.

    Agree, don't judge bad language and being softly spoken. He wants to get into management, perfect opp. for him to do so and enjoy his football and bring the youth along. Most players with championship pedigree people wouldn't be jumping up and down if they signed for us, but they'll see other positives and grow to love the club.
