  1. I guessed 6500 so id say it was right. The rre was about half full and the mainstand still had room in it. I was hoping we would get between 7000 - 7500 but that was being ambitous and with the way the season has gone so far then im not suprised.
  2. Parkers 3 or 4 crossess against Colchester were better than anything i have seen Colbeck put in but I agree that he cant finnish a chance off but when he tried the flick we were 2-0 up and just seeing the game out, that is when you try stuff like that. Colbeck had started improving over recent weeks and was amongst 2 or 3 players who could walk away with any credit in the defeats to Walsall and Norwich, but today he was woeful and in general looks very uncomfortable with the ball at his feet especially when he tries to take a player on. In fairness to the lad though he has proved he can cross a ball but he doesnt produce this often enough in my opinion. He is still young and i hope this is just a bad start for him and he picks up as the team grows in confidence but he wouldn't be in my starting 11 at Wycombe.
  3. I would say Manning is the better off the two. I know Brady has had some superb moments and has won 3 superbowls to Mannings 1 but NE were pretty much an all round great team whereas Indy have always had holes in one posistion or another. I also believe that the Colts will go onto win the superbowl against the Vikings who look class under Farve who now just manages the game rather than going down the field all the time like when he was at Green Bay.

    MOTM Vs. Norwich

I voted Greegs with only Flahavan, Stephens and Colbeck coming out of the game with any credit at all.
  5. Im pretty sure that you can only sign players who are without a club when the window shuts. if there released after the window then they can't play til Jan.
  6. Totally agree and makes it even more depressing that our so called creative player is Danny Whittaker. We played into his hands though, I don't think he could of ever imagined the amount of time and space he has been given twice in the space of a few weeks.
  7. It was a good cross that should of never come in as Lomax made the mistake of thinking it was going out only for it to hold up, then he got turned inside out by Gradel a bit too easy.
  8. I would guess they will be odds on to lose the match 2nd time around!
  9. I've heard all the stories about sleeping in doorways but remember this is Norwich and it will be a tiny bit cooler than Barca
  10. He is definitly a better keeper. He has made some very good saves and I can't think of any obvious errors. Brill isn't as bad as people make out but there were definate weaknesess in his game. Hopefully time out of the 1st team will give him the chance to look at these but i'm still hoping Flahavan's loan will be extended.
  11. I think he should start there next game 3 or 4 quality balls into the box and only a mix of bad finnishing and Colchester having some very good luck we walk away with it in the last 15 mins.
  12. If we're playing that formation then i would have :censored: in for Whitts as he will add more steel in the middle.
  13. As long as all players are treated the same. Therefore Keane would be banned for 3 games aswell. I would be very pi$$ed off if an English player had done the same and admitted it and cost us a place in the world cup, and so would everyone else and im sure there would be all sorts of hate campaigns. So really what ever he does he can't win.
  14. Thats the only reason I wanted Ireland to go through. Besides Given and Keane not one of them would get into an England 'C' team and would be a much easier game. And as for Henry cheating Yeah he handballed it and played on just like Keane tried to do in the 1st half, unfortunatly for him the ref spotted it though. Oh well I won't lose any sleep over it as im sure they wern't in 86.
  15. It has, and it is usually a better read aswell. (off late anyway)
  16. I would assume if we did need to expand it then we would be close to selling out every game so part from increased ticket sales, plus money would be coming in from some of the facilaties Harry posted.
  17. Im guessing if he's broke both wrists then that could well be the end of his playing days seeing as he is now 36 and only a backup keeper. A very good keeper who should of moved the day Cech signed for chelsea, instead he was happy to accept his big wages and waste 4 or 5 years of an already short career. I hope he does recover though.
  18. My point was they could of done it years ago and wasted :censored: loads of money which they didnt have at the time. like your propsing we do by adding another 4000 seats at how ever many millions.
  19. Well said LL. They have been sensible, only just building the 3rd stand as they now beleive they require it after stabalizing themselves as a championship club. (hopefully that means no more rent a stand for us next time we play them )
  20. I'll settle for a new 12000 seat stadium with intentions of future expandment when needed which will help us become self sufficient and hopefully take us into the championship and maybe even beyond. Think what you want Corps but it beats the current BP or the future one that was never going to happen.
  21. And are the only team to have won 50 or more league titles! To be honest there is very little in terms of size between the 2 clubs and certainly are bigger than the likes of Villa, Spurs and Everton who they would be competing with for the Europa league. But unfortunatly for them that counts for nothing as Leeds and Newcastle prove.
  22. My cousin who had been at Latics for 3 years untill he was released last month due to injuries told me we had all 3 of them on the books a few years ago untill United came and took one off us and we released the other. Not sure which one we released and they stole of us though. He really rates Djemy aswell.
  23. Rangers and Celtic would be massive in the PL ...eventually. But are they really wanting to forfit European football for a good few years to come in? If they did both come straight into the PL I could see both of them really struggling and it would not suprise me one bit if they were relagated, and where would that leave them then?
  24. They can concentrate on the league now anyway, and this time they have the goal machine up front so no more bottling it
