  1. Is there any one who is good enough though who will come up in free agency? I don't think there is so unless they move up the draft of trade for one then they could be in a bit of trouble next season.
  2. Yes. The covers didn't work. They have already stated that. Although i do agree about the health and saftey remark about Killing the game as they do in pretty much everything their involved in.
  3. Many grounds in Italy are council owned and both teams pay a rent for it. Interestingly it looks like Lazio are to leave the Olimpic stadium as their fans hate sharing with Roma and it has caused lots of trouble over the years even when there not playing each other. Juventus are moving back to the Delle alpi next season I think or maybe the season after but Torino look set to stay in the Olimpico as they have no intention to ever share with Juve again after being overlooked in many stadium issues. Also both Milan clubs have/are looking at building their own stadium as they don't like sharing either. (and that is suppose to be the friendly derby)
  4. 5 grand a game would be tempting to the board and understanably so. But scum is scum in my eyes and would not like the idea from a fans point of view.
  5. I think it was going to be a :censored:e attended saturday game anyway.
  6. Agree. I cant see Matt Leinhart being anywhere near as good so i think they could be in trouble if they don't draft a QB who can instantly start.
  7. Don't have a clue. I remember something being said about it at a press confrence. Liverpool seem to have a few Hungarians in their reserves aswell.
  8. Wasn't it so that Liverpool got a good look at some of their players over here rather than go all the way over to Hungary, and if any were good then we could benefit by having them in our 1st team?
  9. Im not a fan of it, but it puts our 3 sided :censored:hole to shame.
  10. In fairness he doesnt help himself. We were quick off the mark to sign a midfeilder that we dont need who he plays out of posistion anyway but still hasn't got a forward in.
  11. Thats an interesting view. He could be our back up defensive midfeilder who is really a centre back covering for our on loan defensive midfeilder who now plays at right back who was brought in to cover another loanee who is now in the mangers bad books who was brought in to cover our south african world cup hopefull and the 'ghost' who are are all now being outshone by a man everyone had forgotton about! Its no wonder we're in dire straights is it
  12. Apart from him starting the next game at Hartlepool and looking anything but tired when sprinting off wen he was substituted at wycombe. I can't see a 22 year old lad being tired after 70 mins of football.
  13. The problem is who will want them? I agree it could be worse but Stockport is a bad example they basically have nothing and are highly unlikely to see the start of next season as a professional football club. I think Heffernan would be a great signing but feel he will be wasted as he will get limited service as we try to defend a 0-0 scoreline. As for positive tactics I wouldn't hold my breath.
  14. it should be a great SB with these 2. I thought the Vikings would win as they probably have the stronger overall team but you can't really say NO don't deserve it. I can't see past the Colts though as they are just too good. they have probably the greatest QB of all time or will be by the time he retires, 3 top WR and a top tightend in clark, and there defence isn't too shabby either. I would say they are better than the 18-1 Patriots from a couple of years ago and will win this easier than most will think.
  15. He has always been backed though and spent big money so he should have a decent track record. I would be all for giving him time if there was the slightest positive i could see so far from this season, but i spent my dinner today trying to come up with one with another Latics fan and we just couldn't. he's signed poor players in the main, doesn't try to win the game and is fully happy with a point even against s*** teams like the last 4 we have played. If we keep him in charge then we will have to accept playing in league 2 next season and i really cant see us bouncing back from that like people expect we would.
  16. We really are useless in front of goal. No doubt another fullback or defensive mid will be brought in so they can be played out of posistion by the forward thinking Mr Penney. I knew that save from Brill in the 1st half was good but it looks even better on tv.
  17. I thought they were looking back into the archives when I 1st turned it on.
  18. I know what your saying but leeds are a complete different kettle of fish to us, and we were also in a better posistion last time. I wouldn't rule it out altogether but i'd be fairly confident he will have better offers open to him if he wishes to leave them anytime in the near future and he will know it.
  19. Whilst we may be a step up, would he really leave what he has going for him at the moment to come to the mess we find ouselves in? But yes i agree would be by far the best appointment we could make at the moment.
  20. Whilst I'm not totally sold on Gannon didn't Motherwell get rid due to him refusing to commit his future to them? Also Stockport fans were up in arms when he was made redundant by the administrators.
  21. If thats true, then the only other thing i could think of is they will be called together and be given 1 hell of a f***ing by the owners about how their performances are killing the club. Otherwise its like you said.
  22. It was just short of 300. so we had about 3350/3400 of ours.
  23. Not sure to be honest but i wouldn't think there is too much difference between there and spain. I'm sure its available on the internet somewhere just never bothered looking.
