  1. Why is Craig Dudley getting :censored: in this thread? Betsy I'll agree with, but Dudley kept this team up one season (when it was on its arse) and I can't ever see Morais being that much of a difference. Despite the odd game here and there I must have seen a different Morais to his likers. He's alright, in a way that most bottom six of the table third division footballers are 'alright'.
  2. Hmmm, he had his moments, as did Welbeck (just more so). Other than the French right back (Debuchy?) I don't think anyone really stood out in the game. On the bright side, both Sweden and Ukraine looked utterly :censored:.
  3. It is nothing to do with his ability that people are questioning this. So the only comparable one we have is Hughes, who was a completely different box of frogs. Has anyone any evidence of the lad apologising? I searched briefly and couldn't find anything. That would be the first sign of regret. None of which matters. We'll sign all sorts to be a mid-table obscurity third division team. NB. Last season's team was no where near capable of a top 8 finish. If anything it overachieved by not getting relegated. Well I say overachieved, it turns out there were just some incredibly :censored: teams in our division.
  4. Ditch him. He may have applied himself slightly better after a year and a half of being a luxury we can't afford, but he just isn't what we are after. He naturally doesn't track back. He makes the left back (where we needed no help in looking so) look so out of their depth you'd think they've just been born. I think Wycombe away summed him up. Our man of the match. Scored a screamer and looked good on the ball. They should have scored about seven going down his side of the pitch though.
  5. Top scorer-wise. Lewandowski at 25/1, Pekhart at 200/1 (alright that doesn't look so good now) and Young at 66/1 all were long enough to bet on for me.
  6. Horrible, horrible news. Can't say I'm not swallowing them back for a guy I barely now. Can't really say anything to make this better in any way.
  7. Not with this at all. The lad seems to have pretty much said that a rapist is alright and a victim is not. I think this is an awful signing on that alone, and not one a 'family club' should be doing. I'm just having problems getting past that.
  8. Yes, but that announcement will be "we're doing nowt". Paintings, etc, to make it look nice aint worth :censored:. It is money making stuff we need, and I can't think of anything better than the Chaddy End buying booze that can be better that way.
  9. I still have this itching feeling with Denmark. Not enough to gamble on them yet. Alright, sod it. 100/1, they're top 10 in the World. £5, I've done it.
  10. Portocabin with access from the Chaddy, selling cans into plastic glasses at 300% markup. Would have to put fence up to stop viewing from standing area. Could be worth a go?
  11. Time to ditch Saj in my opinion. Brings nowt to the party. Well impressed with the sheepshagger we've brought in. Everything I've seen from him from ability to attitude is everything missing from Saj for the past few years. My main question is, why isn't Hogg playing the CB40? I think Newby is worth a chance (hence the one year contract), but he isn't touching Hogg's heals.
  12. Is it wrong to applaud viscious unprovoked violence in the street?
  13. It's illegal for a liquidated company to have its name used by a new company. Which appears to be the case here as it seems to be a new entity.
  14. Does the eagle rip his liver out at the end?
  15. Hell, I'd boo him picking up the pen to sign the contract.
  16. I have no real feelings against udders, and quite like Grayson now that he isn't at Leeds. Unlike the Blades who i dislike immensley. As for those who missed out. Well, we've all been there (yeovil away for me), but for such an important game I'd have stopped in walking distance. NB. Having said all that nice stuff, I want the to either go up or come down. To piss off Bates or give us some money.
  17. I still think that the 'I love Filipe Morais' T-shirt was a missed marketing opportunity.
  18. I can't think they are getting anything in from the parachute payments, as it's been five years. Not sure what the figures are now for them, but they reported £46M in debt two seasons ago and I can't think that has done anything other than increase.
  19. Sheffield has much better pubs. Porter is a <insert expletive>. Sheffield United are more likely to cut back/go bankrupt, whereas Hudders won't. Bates' face will fall off when Huddersfield glide past Leeds into division one.
  20. Torres apparently was on the list but bottled it. However much we want to give Chelsea credit, this was all about Gomez missing chance after chance after chance after chance.
  21. Bah, I'll learn how to do that one day. Not a patch on Crouch's or Cisse's. One would think you are some sort of arsenal fan...
  22. I disagree. He's one of the few English players that can keep hold of the ball. No one other than Rooney has the ability to win anything for England at the moment (Wilshire is the nearest). But, by the same line - I think the current (and ten years future) England squad is as unlikely to win a tournament as I am likely to nail Sarah Louise out of corry! Come on England!!!
  23. You have to ask is he the best man for the job? Amazing success, but the problem at Chelsea remains - squad too old! I'd give him the chance, but with seven squabillion pounds, is it the right route to take? Would Mourinho be better? Would Lambert? Mazzarri? Coppello?
