  1. Anyone wanting Bradford PA away obviously hasn't been there. Awful ground for anything other than athletics and even then I'm not too sure it'd be above poor.
  2. I would presume you'd put it late (late Jan) rather than early, incase it is bad later on. If late: Bad weather early: Play postponed games in Winter break. Not bad: Take time off. If early: Bad weather late: Play three games a week, thus defeating the purpose. Not bad: Play games as normal.
  3. Can't they just reduce the number of teams in the reserves league? That should solve it.
  4. I like the teams who sign players who have other players' names the wrong way round (John Collins and David Edgar). I think they should sign Leighton James or Jim Leighton next.
  5. I think that's the one I was on about: "Ritchie's chip from by the sideline (2-0 v Barnsley I think it was)."
  6. Ritchie's backheel from around the penalty spot (Watford was it?). Ritchie's chip from by the sideline (2-0 v Barnsley I think it was). Kuqi at Dale. A couple from the telly: Adams 40 yarder @Brighton. Sheridan's free kick @ Bristol Rovers. Many of these have ten yards added, the shot velocity doubled, the opposition promoted and the skill turned into something Messi would be proud of. They were, in reality, probably two yard tap-ins.
  7. Isn't there shedloads of free parking behinf the station (Norfolk Road and around there). Seem to remember parking around there for nowt previously.
  8. It'd take a hell of alot of concentration to carry having it away whilst "enjoying" a slice of Taggart's 12" takeaway. Or have the double entendres stopped now?
  9. But, by the same ideal - (Anton) Ferdinand must be charged as well, as Terry's claim is that he was just repeating the words back to him*. I also wonder whether in this zero tolerance stance, whether Rio applauding the 'choc ice' comment should be resulting in a similar charge. Ban them all I say, as they aren't on my fantasy side. *I'd have still claimed I was calling Ashley Cole it and got off under extenuating circumstances (Ashley Cole being there).
  10. Not really told us anything we don't know. Does this mean we can tear up the Taylor report and rip the seats out of grounds now? Thought not. Also, not sure why this is being led by the Bishop of Liverpool (on so many levels). What's he going to say, really? "Actually guys, I've read the 400,000 pages of crap and it turns out the Sun were right"?
  11. But: The QB I'd love to see take part due to freak circumstances and then keep his place is Kellen Moore (at Detroit). As a short-arse (at six feet tall) his whole record as one of the best college QBs ever was just ignored. He just won't get a chance ahead of Stafford at the moment. The boldified section would make him better that Stafford. Being honest, he really is very good - but like all others I do wonder if the height would be a problem. The rest of his ability can't really be doubted. I'm not sure what some other teams were thinking not giving him a go. Detroit probably isn't the place I'd have taken him to (St Louis would prabably be the best choice for me).
  12. All I know is other clubs do some of this. I bought a pair of tickets from Southend about five years ago. Every year without fail they ring me to try and get me to invest in their youth squad. I get emailed by Spuds, Villa, Noblot, Shrewsbury, and the list goes on. The whys and whatnots are easy. They are what every club has. The least we sould do is the same as the others. NB. And I still maintain an advertising blimp (well two) one colour when we have a game, one when we don't will let half the population of Oldham know when we are playing and we can also get a bit of money in by advertising with it.
  13. Not sure Miami will be that rubbish, Kansas will be that good or that San Fran will be that poor (being in that division I expect them to have one of the best records full stop). But I do think that the South is spot on, in that there are three very good teams in there. Bit of a lottery that one.
  14. Just so you know for this season. Cam Newton is a million miles better than Luck. I quite like Luck, and he is more of an NFL player than a college player stylewise (unlike Newton). Buutttt.... he is a poor man's Kurt Warner. Newton is awesome and surely to god the rest of that team will have improved. The QB I'd love to see take part due to freak circumstances and then keep his place is Kellen Moore (at Detroit). As a short-arse (at six feet tall) his whole record as one of the best college QBs ever was just ignored. He just won't get a chance ahead of Stafford at the moment.
  15. Reminds me of the time I got a bollocking at work due to some lass sending a bunch of filthy jokes through by email. Due to the autocomplete, she just typed in Mark L and let it do its stuff (along with a few other names, so I wasn't the only one). Sadly there were two Mark Ls. Me and the Chief Executive. What pissed me off most is I never got to see the jokes.
  16. To be fair to that bunch, they did follow that song up with 'He's got more cash than you' whilst pointing at a lad holding a tenner.
  17. I shout at the telly when we open the bowling with Broad and not Finn. When he plays. *Alright, I shouted at the team at Headingley.
  18. Mmm, as far as draft players Chandler Jones at New England could be onto a winner. Skins will be :censored:e this year. Eagles will step up now their defensive line has been solidified, and them and the Giants to compete for that division. Denver with Manning if fit, will do well. But realistically, if we take the Cardinals out and have a runners up competition, I'd say New England and Green Bay look jolly spiffing. Especially when the continuation of this game becoming almost a non-contact sport kicks in. Green Bay to piss it for me.
  19. NB. Note to self, take bell and hope for a reacharound.
  20. England captains facing Graeme Smith must :censored: themselves. Good as a finished.
  21. Yorkies did it (relegation) as well as Notts (just a hilariously). Yorkshire went from top to bottom as well.
  22. Even though I think it is Barcelona, a few South American options might get in there (Boca, Fluminese, Mineiro, River Plate, etc.). Or is that who you meant by Arsenal...
  23. Not sure why this is still running as people are getting personal rather than discussing the issue. You all do realise its a post on a website you are responding to, not a political leader, etc? The only other thing, is Stevie, as an administrator I'd refrain from getting involved in crap like this. You saw the way it was heading early doors. I'd either hold off or ditch the administrating as you cannot win as sooner or later you'll disagree with alot of people (even the reasonable ones on here {so probably not me, then}).
