  1. Reverse forecasts that add up to 7. Easy money.
  2. I'd say that getting into the drivers seat of a car after having a skinful is a complete disregard of human life, even before he's left people for dead.
  3. Not kept up with the league too much this season, just kept upto date with the Devils scores. If we could win shootouts we'd have probably made the playoffs. Think the winner will come from the West. And thats about as far as my prediction is going!
  4. To say he's nothing special is a bit harsh. He did a fantastic job with Sussex taking them from Division 2 to County Champions, and to win the league with Lancs in a season where we weren't spending any money was a triumph that no one saw coming.
  5. It's always a pretty popular cycle route in the spring and summer.
  6. Would its official name be the Johson Clarke Harris Stand or the JCH Stand?
  7. Fair play to you lad. Wasn't there today myself, but heard about the chant. First thing I thought was that's pure brainlessness. And I think that's all it was. Maybe people (the younger lads) just need a bit of an education? Don't know how we'd do this though.
  8. Ronde Van Vlaanderen tomorrow... I'm going for Sagan. He's going to be one if the greats that lad.
  9. These mistakes are always genuine, but even still the teams get pretty harsh punishments and rightly so. I can't believe they have got away without getting a points deduction for this. However, they should be rewarded for cheating against Franchise FC.
  10. Lets just put one thing straight... Anyone who is willing to pay upwards of £300 on a season ticket, but doesn't want to move from where they currently sit, isn't doing the club or the players any harm in any way shape or form.
  11. How much do we save on police costs? If a team bring 2000 fans, police will still need to be at the ground, wether fans are in the same stand or not. If Coventry or Sheff United bring 2000 fans (they won't) then why can't they just make the divide even bigger? Seems bizarre that the very reason the divide was put in the stand isn't used if the stand may be only 1/3rd full.
  12. So we have a stand that is segregated into two parts, one holding 1600 and one holding 3000, yet away fans numbering considerably less than 3000 need to be given the whole stand?
  13. Cooking in Prison* Christian Montano teaches how to make his favorite dishes *subject to retrial
  14. It's not petrol and bread though. It's a football team. But just on the inflation argument - I cycle a bit. If you spend £1000 on a bike now you'd get a much better bike than you would have 7 years ago. But then again, we're not buying bikes, we're buying season tickets at a football club.
  15. Just putting this out there, but... We put the prices well up 7 years ago. In the 7 years since, we haven't increased the price again. However, the standard of football hasn't increased in 7 years has it? If anything, it's got worse. (Not complaining myself but think people who are have a point)
  16. If we were second in the league at this late stage, and not beating a team fighting relegation at half time, our fans would probably be saying the exact same thing. I'd point out this though... Yes, we are crap. But so is 95% of league one. *edit* that means they are too. Thought I might need to spell that out...
  17. You can usually ride the route upto a couple of hours before the tour caravan comes through, so I was thinking of riding up early on the Sunday. I don't intend on staying there for 2 days in lycra!
  18. Less than 100 days now until the worlds greatest Bike Race sets off on what is essentially our doorstep. Anyone planning on going watching any of it? And whereabouts? I'm thinking of heading to Harrogate to watch the finish of the first stage, and hopefully see Mark Cavendish take an early yellow jersey. For the second stage it's got to be up Holme Moss for me. I proper struggled climbing that last year, bonked really bad halfway up and it took me an age to finish, so I'm going to be massively envious of how quick they will fly up the thing!
  19. Serious question for people who do have/will buy a RRE ST. If I sat in there I'd be well annoyed about moving so frequently. But that is why the ST is cheaper. Have you thought about en masse offering to pay more so you don't have to be moved? You could, for example, offer to pay £350 on the proviso that you have the small section and never get moved (hardly any away team bring more than 3000, and if they do, then they've sold out). Or offer to pay £370 and then it's the Chaddy fans who get shifted about.
  20. In fairness, it wasn't an exchange as he didn't get mine. Oh damn, he's got my real name!
  21. Quite the opposite, I do care what might help the team. That's why I turn up every week. What I don't think would help the team, as a few others have pointed out, would be causing resentment amongst quite a few fans by forcing them to move when there is no need for it. I'm all for home fans in the RRE. I'm just dead against moving home fans from the Chaddy.
  22. I don't have an issue in the slightest. I pointed out you were wrong. You were having none of it and called me a smart arse, so I explained why you were wrong. And then you sent a threatening PM. I'm not worried about speaking to you face to face. But I think (not 100% sure) you can read. So I've already explained why you were wrong, but I can come to the main stand lower, row c, seat 35 and run you through it if you really need me to? But I'll only be repeating myself.
  23. I know where he sits now. For some reason he wanted to tell me? All because he misunderstood someone's post.
