  1. Wondered how long it’d take you. Less than 10 mins was some going
  2. Have a look at Bradford’s pitch. Ours is in incredible shape in comparison. https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2024/march/bradford-postponed-020324/
  3. The pitch has held up far better than the previous pitches. It does seem like it’s been very wet (more so than usual) for the last few months too which won’t help. It’s still top 2 or 3 pitches in this league and miles better than a lot of EFL clubs, Bradford being a prime example. Sure i’ve read somewhere that the groundsman said that the pitch will be even better after a year or so too, as it’ll be fully bedded in. Something along those lines anyway.
  4. Only 1800 at Rochdale last night must be a concern for any new potential investor/ owner. I reckon we had games under AL with similar attendances, but were never announced as such. Hopefully they sort themselves out, they were always deemed to be a club who were well ran, so not sure what has gone wrong there.
  5. Baffling all the stick Mcgahey gets. Some of the twitter comments were embarrassing when the team was announced. I think he’ll be released in the summer but he hasn’t been that bad when called upon in midfield. I actually think if he had a touch more pace he’d make a pretty good midfielder, but he is unbelievably slow. He’s also a leader and very vocal, I watched on TV tonight and he was the player I heard the most by a long way.
  6. Get in there! Unbelievable night of results too.
  7. Kitching’s best game for a while. Good to see.
  8. Yea, it was Iceland. They donated 500k last time and 100k this time I think I read.
  9. Because Kidderminster didn’t sell it. They still had tickets available.
  10. Have they announced how much was raised on Saturday yet?
  11. Injured I believe. He’s been in the gym for weeks with likes of Norwood, Walker etc.
  12. We do need the seats don’t we? We had 11,000 home fans on Saturday, and i’m sure they all loved it enough to return in future, no?
  13. 1700 is a piss take tbh with you and It’ll definitely be on police advice. Whilst we aren’t skint, we aren’t going to turn our nose up at thousands more in revenue. Wrexham got 2400, which still isn’t a full stand and your fan base is nothing like as bad as theirs. They’ll make it ticket only for home fans soon too, and cancel any tickets that weren’t in our database, so there won’t be Chesterfield fans in the home end, barring maybe 1 or 2 who slip the net.
  14. Hogan arguing with fans at FT can fuck off as well. They deserved what they got when they walked off that pitch. They get credit when it’s warranted and should be able to take criticism when it’s warranted, and that was certainly warranted today and I don’t think the reaction was OTT.
  15. Agree that they‘ve let people down there today, and MM and the players deserve whats coming their way, but to say he should be sacked is nonsense. Regardless of league position that squad needs a major overhaul, especially in Midfield. Conlon was good on debut and last Saturday, but has largely been awful in the other games. Hammond has looked good in 1 game and a raffle winner the rest. Sheron is hit and miss, absolutely woeful today and Lundstram has been a disaster of a signing and needs replacing. We simply don’t have any midfielder on the books who can create and dominate a game, and it’s been that way for years.
  16. Ahh 2 drivers, didn’t realise that. Makes more sense. Thanks.
  17. Really? That surprises me. Was that not for the players coach though? I didn’t think we were originally doing a supporters coach to Eastleigh on the Saturday, unless I missed it.
  18. I don’t know how much a coach costs or how many they’ve booked but surely a coach isn’t that expensive? I’d say less than a grand perhaps? As a 1 off we can obviously absorb that cost.
  19. So my statement of not selling out was correct then? Everyone who wanted to go was able to do so, and I reckon even if they don’t give us more than the initial 2400 it’ll be the same for Halifax. Definitely agree that results of our next 5 could determine that, but I’ll maintain 2400 will be enough.
  20. Usually less on a Tuesday though isn’t it. Didn’t sell out 1500 at York, and I know it’s a bit further but I still reckon 2400 will be enough.
  21. Plus 800 seated. 2400 on a Tuesday night would be enough no?
