Wow we left that late.We made hard work of that and felt it was going to be one of those days before we came back strongly to rightfully win.Ref made a couple of bad decisions which could have proved costly but we don't seem to get the rub of the green these days.The atmosphere of the fans changed from dejection to extacy I the last few minutes. Most saw the game on BT but I must say that their fans and staff made us feel welcome ,good catering....I dropped a burger bun on the floor which they kindly replaced for free,and wished us well in the next round. You could tell it was a posh place when the only supermarket was a Waitrose☺ Long way to go and got back at 3am but worth it in the end.

Any win for us will do for me. Any thing less a disaster. I'm off down there in buoyant mood knowing whom we are playing in the next round... hopefully!!!

Badly missed Surridge tonight. Would definitely have scored with the chances we made throughout the game. Just made the game tonight after traffic delays on the M1

Excellent all round performance by the team. Only thing lacking is the bloody goals!! Should have scored at least 4 Their keeper was motm with some brilliant saves. We had a solid defence which restricted any attempts at goal. Our wingers actually put some decent crosses in. Miller edged it for me as our motm Feels like a loss but all credit to the team who did everything but score. Badly missing Surridge.

I would give Bunn a little longer say 3 games and if no improvement then decide. I'll be going to Nottingham on Tuesday but not hopeful if it's anything like that Tuesday away game v Mansfield where we stole a point

I think he is OK with what I've seen and is good to have in the squad. However the game I watched over in Mansfield he was truly awful but again who wasn't.

Loved the way Clarke Edmundson and Hamer were the last three players to leave the pitch.Great to have our two young players with such talent and affection.

Poor first half despite hitting the woodwork twice .Miller and Hamer though were outstanding in the second half and Benteke did well. The team talk at half time worked since it was all out attack and all the players put in a shift .I'm still thawing out .Poor crowd but at least those who went left happy.

Who in their right mind would want to take over the reins of our proud club..? Those who have tried have failed and our land asset been stripped. The best asset this club will always have are our fans .

I'll settle for a win over a poor performance anytime. Good use of subs changed a dull game against 10 men .Miller definitely brought the game to life and glad Lang scored.Shold do his confidence a world of good. Very poor crowd tonight which was expected after the last couple of home losses. Need to get a win on Saturday against the team which sent us down.

Results show that nothing in this division is a certainty so we need to up our game on Tuesday. We need players who can run and cross the ball and midfield who don't hesitate and play sideways. Up front we are desperately missing Surridge but will have to see if Lang and Ogrady can come good.

Typical rubbish in front of a decent home crowd. Many walked out after the 3rd. We made rhem look good. Crap tackling and poor passing, nothing up front. Poor performances in every department. No positives from this game

At Mansfield we were searched with metal detectors and the police and officials were really strict and had a sniffer dog as well!. Seemed a bit OTT First time I've been sniffed for a while!!!!!

Having got back home about 11 45 I'm not laughing.

Mansfield are the best team we have played.They are well organised and have very tricky wingers who can actually cross the ball.We were lucky not to be 4-0 down at half time but for the cross bar and our brill keeper who was Motm. Clarke and George kept a lot out and Taylor did OK. The rest had a bad day and our strikers poor.Will be glad when Surridge is back .He would have buried that great chance at the very end.Millar and Ogrady have to up their games big time for me. 400 plus Latics felt let down by this lackluster performance but credit to the team for hanging on and having a go in the second half and so nearly nicked all 3 points at the end .Lady luck was definitely with us tonight.We were better after Baxter came on for Lang. We will have Surridge back soon so hoping we don't put on a similar show on Saturday! !!
