Being only 19 i was 2/3yrs old when we had our big glory promotion with big joe but ive seen all the old videos etc and know all about the past via my family. likewise, on a football basis it was time to go, he has all the right intentions but just isnt a MAN manager, good coach/bloke etc but not a manager, at least not here for the future. On a man to man level i feel for him, but that is football and the directors will have had day to day interaction around the club and know more aabout goings on than us. Listening to local leeds station, few things to note: 'Look like we're going to concede all the time' 'keeper is dodgy' 'look vulnerable at the back against nippy/pacey strikers' 'Players playing out of position, cm at rb' 'injuries and suspensions: robinson hamstring, howson suspended' 'without beckford we struggle and rely on him for goals' Keep beckford quiet and these lot are sh1t, overrated trash. We've done them at Elland rd twice in 2 seasons and scunthorpe can come back from 2-0 down so they are clearly :censored:e defensively. Get CT and DS running at them and they'll have problems. We can afford a defeat now and still be in the playoffs which helps, although i can see a draw at worst. As long as we have a real good go and dont hide I dont care about the result. They will have to play well to beat us so if they do then fair play. COME ON BOYS!! - BELIEVE!!!

he wears some sort of skin tight shirt underneath which seems to bulk him out a bit, but i know he does like a good curry so this may have led to him adding a few pounds (if he has). Re Windass - against hartlepool he looked like he could offer something to the team and against stockport too. Since then though, he has looked way off the pace - i'd have him as a sub for the last 30mins but i wouldnt start him, which shez has obviously had to do to get him on loan. He isnt mobile enough to carry out a strikers duties ie chasing down defenders/tracking back. All in all, depite the odd moment of good interplay, deep down i dont think he is worth having. O'Grady back anyone?....

sorry, not meant as an attack on you, just thought the answer to your question was a little obvious (although yes, i know it isnt the midfield taking hughes's shots for him, but apart from tonight there has been no decent service - smalley excluded - from midfield since stockport.)

maher is just as bad in my eyes, good at set pieces thats it ala liddell and pens, although yes to be fair he has done ok last few games, but he is old and too slow to get anywhere near his markers when defending/running back, allott has a little burst of pace at least.

I can see golbourne going back, jones at LB with taylor LW and smalley and ferreira as the other wing options. Hope golbourne stays and we have everyone avalilable, but i can see liddle and lee out on loan for a month or so. Lee should be in CM with Allott as our creative option, ive always said that, but what do i know i dont possess 'coaching badges'....
