Few queries about the most recent video .. Whose the random lad in the England shirt taking part in training? Seems strange as all the other trialists have kits etc .. Not sure what the point of some of those keeper drills are, practising ball work with the feet on a 4G pitch won't be the same as a cold January night at some bog. Lads seem in decent spirits, starting to feel more happy about having Branger and Maouche back for another season .. Lad from Swansea looked alright from the snippets .. Feels like we're still 7/8 signings short and having this trip without them to gel doesn't make much sense.

Mo taking part in training. Arriving at 3am, really. Training on a beach? We aren't entering a beach league. Urko looked decent though.

If this doesn't state ambition along with our other signings, I don't know what does. That statement in the Trust's notes must have literally meant a 100% bigger budget as the signings we've made so far and our targets would dictate that. When was the last time we paid £200,000 or more for a player? Remember Chris Killen or Allan Smart potentially being £250,000? Paid around £60,000 for Oz in recent times from off the top of my head?

Did he mention we were signing Thierry Henry? Sure I heard it mentioned in the interview. Would people have him here, he's a bit old but surely at 41 he still has that touch of class at this level. Can't see him stopping his punditry to come and play here though.

Dux was my favourite defensive midfielder.

Started 49 of the 53 games the year they won the league, so wasn’t a just a squad man. Decent enough at Hamilton and as someone said, they wanted to keep him. On paper another solid signing. Out of interest, wonder who signed him, like how would our new man even think of him, or even AL for that matter.
