    Back in the day me and the lads would often see Tony in a hostelry on the way to away matches. Like ourselves he was a notable pisshead and jolly good company. I've no actual quotes to hand but I do remember classics such as Latics attacking like "a band of raiding Appaches" and someone scoring after "lurking like a deep sea diver". To be fair I can't remember if it was Tony's report or not but the Chron once reported we were very unlucky to lose an away game at Northampton. We lost 8-0 ! Classic stuff.

    Quite right young man. All we need to do is sign Snow White and we could put on a cracking Christmas panto. Who knows.it could even better yesterday's performance.

    The problem was that Brill did come to claim it when the ball was clearly going beyond him. He was then left in no man's land when the header came in. Yes,the man should have been tracked but Brill was at fault coming off his line. From where I was sat anyway.

    Well I'm glad to see someone's bothered to mention that. To listen to some, get a couple of CB's and a new keeper and that's job sorted. Fact is.we're weak all over the meadow. Weak for numbers at CB and GK and just plain crap in midfield.

    Yes,why he doesn't give a simple ball to a non existent midfield is beyond me. Perhaps he can't find them, but then being non existent he wouldn't be able to would he ?

    Hopefully Penney will have seen Danny Jones as a left back totally incapable of defending. For example:- Jones hasn't a clue of how to hold the line,thus players who would have been caught offside,aren't. Never mind though, just take the easy option,being the ball watcher you obviously are and blame Gregan.

    Not as a full back I wouldn't as he's an accident waiting to happen in defence. A lot going for him in the oppositions half though. LW or nowt for me.

    Maybe we should have a light bulb fitted on top of Hazell's head and then it would be easier to see how often he switches off. It would be like watching a lighthouse.

    Lewi has talent no doubt about it and I think Shez would consider him more if he tried to stay on his feet more instead of falling over at every opportunity. Sort yourself out lad !
