  1. It was shezza's decision! I think he wanted to hand-pick when and who the reserve team played so that as to keep them as sharp as possible. Don't know how the league doesn't do this though!!
  2. just watched it Wenks. wow...hughsey doesn't mince his words when it comes to the Millwall fans
  3. Firstly, I am absolutely made up with the comeback today. Fantastic I hope shez sticks with the team finished today. However, you cannot ignore the first 70 mins, piss poor performance and players looked liked they were finishing the season nevermind starting the season. Well done lads!
  4. No way, it is crossley all the way! Flemming will only get a run in the team if crossley is injured, or loses his form.
  5. Yep I really like this attitude. It's a case of if the manager believes then players and fans will believe. Like you said, it may backfire but I certainly won't be giving shez a hard time for looking at the positive side.
  6. Yeah I think 6th is about right! Scunthorpe in 3rd??? I don't think so!
  7. 1 Brighton 2 Leeds 3 Carlisle 4 Cheltenham (there is always a dark horse) 5 Colchester 6 Oldham (Promoted via play-offs) 7 Hartlepool 8 Hereford 9 Huddersfield 10Bristol rovers 11 Leicester (cant see them bouncing straight back in 1st season) 12 Leyton Orient 13 Millwall 14 Milton Keynes Dons 15 Northampton 16 Crewe 17 Peterborough 18 Scunthorpe 19 Southend 20 Stockport 21 Swindon 22 Tranmere 23 Walsall 24 Yeovil
  8. How about finishing as high as possible wheather that is 1st or 12th. Seriously we could have a :censored:ty season and finish 15th or we could have a good start and win this bloody league. Let's just not put marker down and see what happens
  9. Spot the difference from last season???? The bench!!!!
  10. Sorry but can someone please clarify why the club feels it not neccesary to have a reserve team playing regularly this season ?
  11. Don't think it is that unreasonable considering you will be dropped off right on the doorstep.
  12. yes your right he does seem happy about staying with us. However, if we don't get promoted next season I think he will be offski
  13. Ohhh I bet that was exciting. Did you talk to him, you know when he was stood next to you in the toilets. I bet that was a wonderful experience!!! Sorry I couldn't resist a dig, but you just set yourself up for that one.
  14. It is alright saying that for x amount of money you would take him to donny yourself, but how much of the money would be plugged back into the team? No doubt we would replace taylor with another youngster costing little or nothing, with the majority of the money, rightly or wrongly, covering the losses of last season and the next. Keep him I say! and keep building with the squad we have now plus a few more class additions, I am sure we can break into the top 6.
  15. I agree almost 100%. Trouble is i think latics are going to be used as a stepping stone once again.
  16. Up untill about yesterday I was pretty much impartial as to who I want to win tonight, but my alliance is now firmly with Chelsea. The reason I say this is because all the closet united fans are starting to emege, and it makes me sick. Friends on facebook who previously have never shown any interest in football, friends at work who don't even know the offside rule, even the owners of the butty shop next to the white hart, who have never heard mention the support of united before are all behind them I realise this may be a north south decide thing. However, it really does get my blood boiling when the majority of these people have even made an attempt to get down and watch united play at old trafford So for this reason and this reason only I am firmly behind the cheski lifting the cup.
