  1. Our current record wearing it isn't to shabby we haven't conceded a goal in open play wearing it yet
  2. Got a second yellow from a tackle a little later I think but I do remember that those there were privilaged to see Danny Boshells one moment of real aggression in a tic's Shirt.
  3. Seems to be alot involving Darren Sheridan Anyone remember that one at Scunthorpe in August 2003 1st round of the Carling\Worthington Cup whatever it was then 20 man Brawl started by Mini Shez which ended up with him and one of the scunthorpe players being sent off and then Boshell got sent off later.
  4. Bravo Jorvik would be the most sensible and constructive solutiuon to all this.
  5. This sounds like a big problem for the club at the moment with a 3 sided ground our disabled facilities are poor I hope that this won't be the case with the new stand and that it boasts first class disabled facilities not only that but we need to consider disabled facilities for away fans particularly in the RRE if we intend to continue using this as an away stand their will be many teams who will come to BP and have all their fans stood up e.g. Leeds. Hopefully this will be thought of when the developments take place. As for the people moaning about standing and swearing at the seats closest to the away fans If you don't like it perhaps you could go to Old Trafford or the COM and buy seats right next to the away fans. oh I forgot at every ground in the country their tends to be standing and swearing and taunting going on where home and away fans are closest.
  6. I'm with you on this one and I think the majority are I watched Sheridans reaction as Davies trudged off he didn't even look at him no doubt deserved dressing down will have been given.
  7. Aslong as they all kick the :censored: out of Chris Moore I couldn't care less Ive gone for Greagen to win though
  8. If people think that we should only give the small section they must either, not be very good at maths (9000 seats available saturday for home fans 4800 taken) or, Looking for trouble with Leeds fans because thats what will happen as if we only give them that small section, loads will stream into the home stands a recipe for disaster particularly if we are both challenging near the top. The police will never allow it. Having said that Leeds are the only team where fans will definately have to move. They might have to move for Leicester or Huddersfield but that will only be if they are both flying and we are near the top too. Can't exactly see us moving for Tranmere
  9. Got free of his man and just through his body at the ball it went in the far corner messy goal but definately his goal lets not forget you have to be in the position to make the chance. I will take plenty more like that this season.
  10. Spot on The large section of the RRE wasn't even half full today speaking as someone sat in the main stand. Leeds will be given the large section of the RRE minimum.
  11. I think the police might insist we do give them the large section because if not then they will be in the home ends. Plus the RRE wasn't even half full today.
  12. Read the Lee Hughes thread its hilarious that of all teams Millwall fans are trying to claim the moral high ground over this as if they have never ever ever done anything wrong ever. Im sure none of their fans have ever got behind a wheel pissed before or had any criminal convictions or that they were the first set of fans in donkeys years to be kept behind after the game. Or that their was any trouble after todays game and that it was my imagination when I saw all those Millwall fans trying to offer everyone outside after the game. Bunch of animals.
  13. I think I would give Hazel the benefit of the doubt today and I think shez will too. He was uncharacteristically woeful today but because of his performances so far in a blue shirt I don't think we should drop him just yet. I will reserve my judgement on maher but I would certainly start Whittaker in the next game really made a difference when he came on and possibly Hughes will come in although I would still have Davies and Hughes as my main strike partnership, Davies probably needs to improve on today he seemed to let his head go down a little bit.
  14. You missed our first two goals then? Had his best game since we beat Forrest 5-0 always looked a threat set up other opportunities too and played some excellent passes.
  15. So whats your prediction for that game Leeds 650 for 6 declared Latics 123 all out. If we can we need to loan warney back for that game hopefully the pitch will turn abit for him
  16. I can apreciate where you are coming from having an 8 year old daughter and if I had kids of my own maybe my atitude would be different. However pretty much for the last 100 years+ football grounds have been a place for the working man to come and let out abit of testosterone and frustration weather that be from frustration from work, frustration from no work, or frustration from anythingelse in life. Its very difficult to take that away if in deed possible at all. Going to Latics Home and away is a hoby and is something we can go to do to switch off. Its better its done interms of shouting at 22 guys kicking a bag of wind round a field rather than going kicking lumps out of each other. Sport effectively is away of channelling aggression watching and playing.
  17. Yes my god they were dark days that season for me that season was the most depressing of all time. That was in the days when we got excited about the prospect of Mathew Tipton and the pre season excitement of our man to solve our stiking problems step forward super Steve Whitehall.
  18. There is your answer people its a friendly one week before the season starts I would hazard a guess that the last thing any of the players would want at this moment is an injury in a game that means nothing.
  19. Between 3rd and 8th but we won't get promoted we need a left footed left back we still don't quite have the balance IMO.
  20. Very good post agree 100% If we have learn't anything from being in this division it is that its not easy at all to get out of this season will be no exception. As has been shown we have only won 1 promotion in the last 30 years they don't come around too often.
  21. 2 questions 1. Why do you think Colchester will do so well 2. Why won't we get in the top 6
  22. I don't know about promotion or bust but certainly top 6 that is a realistic expectation Leicester and Leeds will have bigger budgets than ourselves so I won't say top 2 and the play offs are a lottery we are one bad refereeing decision, wicked deflection, bad injury at the wrong moment from losing those games. That said it really depends how the season pans out and the football we play and how things develop over the course of the season.
  23. The only way thats going to happen is if we get all the games to kick off at 7:30 as on sat at the MEN we had an extra 4.5 hours drinking time which always makes all the difference .
