  1. There were chants of "if you take your f*cking top off you're a c*nt" at Walsall last week...
  2. Supporters have been given just under three weeks notice for this change, the chief executive is apologetic in his statement and I imagine most fans understand why this move has happened. Storm in a teacup.
  3. Glad I moved back to the North Stand when it opened. However, a complete overreaction by some to this decision. It makes sound financial sense, we're not in a position to turn easy money away.
  4. I should have probably added that it turned up when questioned by The Trust IIRC. I heard a rumour back in January that the scoreboard money was used to settle the transfer embargo. (This is alleged and could be (and probably is) false, just to be careful there).
  5. Wouldn't be the first time a scoreboard fund has gone walkabouts though, would it?
  6. Let's hope the weather holds off and they can get the game on, their Tuesday night game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. 5 of us on the 10.28 from Piccadilly, with a brief rendezvous in one of Birmingham's fine establishments, or most probably, a wetherspoons
  7. Ripley Wilson Gerrard Clarke Hunt Fane Green O'Neill Taylor Holloway McLaughlin
  8. Had a go at the League One Predictor, no surprise for me - 17th forever. http://www.thefishy.co.uk/calc.php
  9. Very random but I've just been watching the DVD's from the 2003/2004 season but my third disc isn't working at all. Wondering if anyone has a spare or unloved copy they'd be willing to part with. Thanks.
  10. He said in his LP interview that it's supposed to be three up front (Taylor, Holloway, McLaughlin), but they got dragged back into midfield too much.
  11. It's a great result and in perspective of the last three games, 7 points from a possible 9 is a brilliant return. Hopefully Millwall have their eyes on the cup when they visit next week, will be a very hard test for us.
  12. I think so... He's probably our most steady right-back after Wilson. He could switch Hunt to RB and bring Reckord in though...

  14. We've got Manchester > Bescot Stadium open returns for £24.50, with railcards though - I couldn't seem to get it cheaper with separate journies or anything. Question for the regulars... Our leg their is supposedly via Wolverhampton, but I assume our tickets will just say Manchester > Bescot as it's an open return, any route permitted? Am I right?
  15. Plymouth complain to the FA after Leyton Orient's Liam Kelly pushed a ballboy to the ground last night.
  16. We were fifth in the league and had just beaten a decent Swindon side quite comfortably. Times were good and we filled out the full stand at Rochdale, winning 3-0 in the process. Had he stayed, we would have almost certainly been in and around the play-off places for the rest of the season, as it went though, Corney and Owen lost all ambition when LJ left...
  17. QPR at home 2003, after the summer before. All 11 players in the Chaddy/Lookers corner after John Eyre's winner (IIRC). That win meant a lot after the play-off's and the horrible summer we endured.
  18. I thought he was good when he was involved in the game, but a quiet performance all round from him. Still adament he's better and more effective on the right wing than the left, but time will tell.
