  1. Always thought Joe looked a decent player last season and he was the one transfer-listed player I'd like to stay (maybe Flemming too) but he does have injury problems which may be why we're looking to get rid. Would like to see him play some part in tomorrow's game, if he shows the desire he should be given a chance.
  2. I like the look of Kelly - he's looked useful whenever he's played. Last night he had zero service. Is he a goalscorer though?
  3. I agree. I sat in the main stand last season and there are more than a few idiots up there. I've moved to the main stand lower and its better - the fans seem to get behind the team more. There's still the occasional daft comment but that happens anywhere you sit. The banter with opposing teams management and the 4th official is usually pretty funny too! And I think I remember that southern guy! He's always like that if its who I'm thinking of. We weren't great last night but I don't think it was due to a lack of effort. And if the players are putting the effort in we shouldn't be getting on their backs.
  4. It'll be the idiot kids in the RRE (yes I'm generalising, I'm sure they're not all bad). They probably think we're entitled to win the league after drawing at Charlton. Frustrating game? Yes, but at least the players were all putting effort in.
  5. It certainly looked like a pen from where I was in the mainstand lower. What about the Yeovil one? That looked like a pen to me so it evens out in the end.
  6. I'm very disappointed with the result and performance - it was almost like last season, though its the kind of game we'd have lost under Penney. We definitely missed Jarrett, M'Voto doesn't look confident and it seemed like the midfield (Furman in particular) were dropping deeper to help him out, meaning less bodies forward when we were attacking. Coupled with our general lack of ideas up front, we were probably never going to score today. Taylor is still a bit off his best but I think he'll get there. He was unlucky not to score and forced two excellent saves from their keeper. Credit to Yeovil, they didn't roll over like Notts County but I got the impression from their bench and fans that they're very pleased with the point.
  7. Good idea. My first game was back in the glory days - 6-2 vs Wimbledon. I thought it'd be that good every week but its been downhill ever since. Hopefully PD/GT can get us some if not all the way back there.
