  1. no they dont. i can assure you a sky engineer gets 70 mins to fit a single box or 115 mins for multiroom. facts are always better than fiction.
  2. sounds :censored:e but the adult weekends at butlins are excellent, 4000-5000 people all on stag dos and hen partys, atmosphere is quality and it is quite cheap as well! 3 day cruise to bilbao, nightclub, bars, entertainment on the boat, casino, swimming pool, gym etc. only down side it sails from southampton.
  3. i had a big union jack with oafc on the front but when i decided to jump over the fencing and celebrate with super sean mcarthy away at stoke after his last minute goal on tv in the 90s the police never returned it to me! if anyone knows where it is please let me know.
  4. better than van bastens and we had the chalk sponser on the shirt that started coming of some of the players shirts througout the match.
  5. bought a yard dog then had to get another one every week as they always seemed to burst near the back paw!
  6. first memory was bradford away in the 80s when carlisle fans (i think) came in our end and kicked off as theyre game was called off i remember my dad telling me to wait at the front while he and his mates got them out! my dad taking me to blackburn and leeds away and letting me stick my fingers up at there fans! and telling me when i get older not to talk to these kind of people!!! he said i would understand when i was older. we played derby away 1st game of the season and won 1-0. ron futcher scoring if i remember correctly. a policeman telling my mum to hide her scarf and her telling him in no uncertain terms to piss off as she was not scared to show her colours. mike cecere scoring in the playoffs against dirty leeds was a fine, fine moment. hanging on the fence at the front of the chaddy with numb hands was the best thing ever and these are the times when the bug certainly set in. yard dogs. aaah the memories.
  7. in the 80s at huddersfields old ground, they scored, it got disallowed, we went up the other end and scored much to the displeasure of the huddersfield fans, two of them jumped over the fences and laid into the linesman!!!!
  8. standing on the burnden terrace in the fa cup quarter final on my own after my dad only got himself a ticket for the latics end, buying one from a tout outside for £35!!!! a lot of money to a 16yr old. beckford scoring and me jumping around like a loony, threatened to get killed by the bolton fans with the stewards and police advising me to leave quickly or face the consequences from the home fans. i stood my ground (latics top showing) and witnessed one of my greatest latics moments. aaahhh the memories.

  13. the dell when we drew 2-2 in the littlewoods cup was a special night in a packed out ground, the atmosphere from the latics fans was excellent followed by goodison park for a night match under the floodlights in the 90s. quality.
