  1. And under a certain other manager aswell. Was it 28 years without winning the league? God I hate Taggart
  2. To be fair, Morecambe are known for their hardcore hooligan following, which is probably why all these lads were being rowdy. I'm sure we'll be back to sitting down and politely clapping the opposition come Saturday.
  3. It's just the new owners showing their intent this really, nothing more than a publicity remark.
  4. I know there's an S.M.B, Saint Marys Boys, or something to that effect. I'd assume it's that...
  5. My highlight was a Scum text yesterday, when it looked unlikely that they were going to be getting Berbatov, blaming Taggart, saying how he should have been sacked at the end of last season and that he'd like to see him sacked by January.
  6. Aye, I missed that point. He was far to predictable last season, that doesn't seem the case anymore. I'd agree about the wear and tear, I also think there was a lot of weight on his shoulders last season aswell, after having such a good season previously.
  7. If you've got a right footer on the left wing, you expect them to be coming inside and shooting, as you know they're going to struggle to consistantly provide good crosses. Taylor didn't do this enough, if at all, last season, which is why some fans started to become frustrated. During the summer he has clearly worked on this, and grown the confidence to get a shot off whenever he can. At the moment, this is paying off, so i'd definitely keep him out there.
  8. ? And lets be honest, nobody in this league thinks of Leeds like that. Which is why pretty much every ground they visit this season will sell out. Including ours.
  9. He's a Manc, they're all bloody miserable!
  10. Cracking result that. We're still top of the league!
  11. Why? If people are going to charge the barriers whenever we score and throw stuff at Cheltenham fans (Cheltenham fans for gods sake!), then something like this was bound to happen.
  12. But surely if he's played almost 100 first team games, and played international football, then he should at least have mastered the basics, ie keeping in position or passing to a teammate? He will get better, but at the moment I feel he's a liability and i'd feel more comfortable if we was on the bench.
  13. Aye, Liege were excellent, really well organised, just lacking in the final third really. Despite how awful Liverpool were, at the back of my mind I always knew they'd sneak a winner though...
  14. No need to get offensive fella, everyones entitled to an opinion...
  15. He's constantly out of position. Where you not at the Millwall or Dale games, where he got run ragged for 90 minutes? For most of the games he was practicley at centre back. I'm not normally one for slagging off our own players, but i'm afraid Eardley is the exception. Simply not good enough.
  16. I just can't see what all the hype is about. His positioning is awful, he's not a great defender, his passing and crossing are diabolical. The only thing he seems to have going for him is a good shot; who needs a right back with a good shot though? I don't think it's fair to start threads on individuals, but I think some people need to see the light and realise he's just not good enough...
  17. He has been for a long while now. Can't remember the last good game he had...
  18. We're too big for the Mickey Mouse cup anyway. Back to concentrating on storming the league...
  19. I've heard he can play right back. So i'd drop Eardley...
  20. Last seasons game was bizarre, we played them off the park yet lost 3-0. Here's hoping we get 'em back this time round...
  21. West Ham 2 - 1 Wigan It just keeps on getting better and better.
  22. I thought Shez was a Manure fan? He just lives in Leeds.
