  1. Bosko Balaban for Villa? £6 Million and didn't start a single game. There's too many to name for Latics, just from last season there's John Thompson and a certain ex-England international who's name escapes me...
  2. Absolutely gutted I am. The epitome of how every footballer should be, always put in 100% effort, clearly loved playing the game, and also seemed a genuinely nice bloke. I'm sure he'll keep fighting till the end though.
  3. http://worryaboutyou.com/ There's a couple of their tracks on here pal. Can't really get into them myself, even though they're from my neck of the woods...
  4. The whole shirt's a design fault. Bloody awful it is.
  5. Aye, that was my first thought anall. Macca was cracking in his first season to be fair, lets hope this lad has a similar impact eh?
  6. From a Vale fan. Not sure what to make of that really, I can't really see him being first choice anyway to be fair...
  7. Playing music after goals is awful. I'd rather just jump about and celebrate, sounds crazy but it might catch on.
  8. I'm with you on this one, that was my first thought when I saw him against the Republic of Cechslovakia (David Pleat ©). He's balder now than he was on that picture aswell...
  9. Plus he may feel he's achieved all he can at Manure. He's won every major trophy on offer, so he may feel this is the right time for a new challenge. Let's hope so anyway eh?
  10. If we're playing attractive football and all the young players are gelling and showing promise, then i'll certainly stand by him. I certainly wouldn't say it's promotion or the sack, although if it goes anything like last season, then i'm afraid it'll have to be Shez out, unfortunately. I am genuinally optimistic for next season though, more so than I have for a good while...
  11. Pretty much marked SWP out of the game didn't he? That took some doing...
  12. Are Motherwell guarenteed 3rd spot yet? Chris Porter in europe
  13. I look out for the results of AC Milan, Arsenal and Rangers...
  14. It's not Zidane then? I suppose they got someone just as glamourus in...
  15. ABU without question. I have an extremely unheathly dislike for the entire football club (bar Scholesy). I will take extreme pleasure from Chelsea doing them over in Moscow...
  16. Seems to me the only reason we had a decent attendence yesterday was because there was an oppurtunity to run on the pitch. Pretty pathetic really...
  17. Man Utd or Man City - No competition for me, I despise Manure. Liverpool or Everton - Neutral really. Arsenal or Tottenham - Their brand of football is breathtaking. Southampton or Portsmouth - Always had a soft spot for them Newcastle or Sunderland - I like Keegan... Rangers or Celtic - I know a few Gers fans. Not to fussed either way really... Real Madrid or Barcelona - Great club, great city, great tradition. Not liked Real ever since Beckham went... Ajax or Feyenord - Their record of producing top class players is astonishing. AC Milan or Juventus - My second team. Just a great tradition, fantastic history, and Paulo Maldini Bristol Rovers or Bristol City - Couldn't give a toss either way. Boca or River Plate - Both great clubs, I'd love to attend this fixture in the future. Dortmund or Schalke - Still averaging around 70,000 whilst being a mid-table side for a good few seasons now. Sleeping giant.
  18. Same here. I despise OT as it is, horrible stadium, so having to watch that tosh in it didn't exactly help matters...
  19. Constantly switching managers is never going to get us anywhere. We aren't a big club, we aren't going to attract the best managers, the best we can hope for is someone like Martin Allen Yes, this season hasn't been the best of seasons, but I think all managers need a time to settle, it's not like we're struggling against relegation is it?
  20. Crossley - 6 - nothing to do Eardley - 7 - Better performance from him, although the player he was up against was terrible. Hazell - 8 - Solid, what we've come to expect from him really. Stam - 7 - Good performance Lomax - 8 - For me one of our better players at the club, always consistent. Smalley - 8 - Always looking to run at Tranmere, good performance. Macdonald - 7 - Looked better now he doesn't get dragged into wide positions. Allot - 9 - Man Of The Match. I think it's fair to say he's surprised us all... Taylor - 8 - Best performance this season. Had a couple of decent shots saved, and took his goal well ( ) Allesendra - 9 - His hold up play is superb, good to get his first goal aswell. Constantine - 7 - Didn't go on Tuesday, but from what i've been hearing this was a huge improvement. Did well for the goal.
  21. Playoffs. Because i might aswell be optimistic.
  22. Much as i'd like the lashers to come down, it won't happen. Sheff Wednesday, Sheff United and Preston are the ideal candidates, we don't have to many local games anymore...
