  1. Aye, it were cracking today. As has been said, it felt more like an away game, especially the mingling outside at the back of the stand.
  2. I can't see how the third goal was Crossleys fault. It took a dodgy deflection, tryed to deal with it whilst up against the post, yes it weren't the greatest punch but he was in a very difficult situation. The fact their striker had all the time in the world to slot it home needs to be looked at aswell.
  3. Well, I certainly didn't expect that. Hughesy and Whittaker changed the game, and Taylors finish was sublime.
  4. It's shiny. That's what attracted me to it. Plus if it's shiny it must be nice...
  5. It's a bloody nice hotel that (from the outside anyway). Shame about the setting...
  6. I don't think it's fair to punish the Leeds fans, they're aren't the ones charging these prices. Plus this is the kind of price they've got to pay for every home game remember...
  7. And i'm one of those people. I wouldn't pay that too watch Champions League football, nevermind League One...
  8. Stuart Barlow I suppose my first two 'proper' favourite players where Eyresy and Shez...
  9. Why's everyone tipping Leicester and Huddersfield to do so well? Especially Huddersfield, selling a lot of season tickets and signing Keigan Parker does not make you promotion candidates...
  10. Prem: Liverpool Championship: Ipswich League 1: Oldham League 2: Rochdale
  11. Scum away in the cup (I can dream anyway). Reastically, it's always nice to beat: Huddersfield Trannies Leeds Stockport and Peterborough, because of the Taggart connection...
  12. I was under the impression Leeds fans didn't rate him?
  13. I dunno, i'd say Borussia Dortmund push 'em close, at least...
  14. I always thought people went to football games to watch football, not listen to music. They can play some German techno for all I care, s'long as the team performs on the field...
  15. Aye, the scum use this for Giggs don't they? Blue Suede Hughes anyone?
  16. Ernie joined Oldham a couple of seasons after I first started watching Latics regularly. I wasn't around for the glory years, and so wasn't exactly spoilt by the football on display at BP. This is one of the reasons I love supporting Latics though, as you come to appreciate players not just for their talent, but for their commitment and passion. Ernie was never the most gifted of footballers, but what he lacked in talent he more then made up for in hard work and just his genuine enthusiasm for the game. Football is severly lacking characters like Ernie these days, and he will be sorely missed, not just by Oldham fans, but by football as a whole. R.I.P Ernie.
  17. I'm glad we didn't get him personally, thought he was a waste of space. No composure, 6ft odd but awful in the air, looked dopey with the ball at his feet, and except one good season for Vale, his scoring record isn't all that either. We've got at least 3 better strikers in the squad already...
  18. I can only think of two British clubs that do anything along those lines, Wednesday and Rangers. I've always thought it looks great when them two do it though...
  19. Who's the fella on his own? He's the spitting image of Joey Barton...
