  1. 20 points exact attendance. 5 points within 10. 3 points within 100. Bonus 5 or 10 points for the single predictor closest to exact attendance. I like it.... means 1 predictor can steal a march on promotion / relegation each week....
  2. Neither. You might recall I 2nd’d it and it was kiboshed by @Stevie_J & @Bristolatic because “too many points are already allocated to attendance predictions”. I’d happily revisit it. Over to Steve & Pete?
  3. I like that Manchester Lager they've got on in the Rifle Range.
  4. So far, 44 Predictors signed up. 25 have gone with the early Prediction. 7 think we'll win. 12 draw and 6 lose. 8 think Surridge will score Latics' first goal. Attendances range from 3,342 to 4,567. Oh... and 1 predictor has failed to predict a HT score. What do you think will happen on Saturday? All you have to do is, pay the £10 entrance fee via PayPal to stevie_j@owtb.co.uk (Please note the underscore) with your OWTB username in the comments box. Half the money goes into the prize fund, the other half split between OWTB running costs & O4U's chosen charity. Then, place your Prediction for the MK Dons (h) game in the following thread;
  5. Back to? Go on, regale us of those heady days when you were in it?
  6. It’s a right faff cutting & pasting from a phone though isn’t it? Much easier to go with the lazy reply and type scenario. Also, I had to find the link to the other thread and nearly walked into a tourist looking at a map while I was cursing.
  7. There are many OWTB members who prefer to watch/read and not post a great deal. Prediction League is for you too, just like it is for @milnrow latics, @aidan_latics, @a259 & @Ak's11. Why not join them? All you have to do is, pay the £10 entrance fee via PayPal to stevie_j@owtb.co.uk (Please note the underscore) with your OWTB username in the comments box. 18. In the 4th and Final edition of this year’s ‘Predictors in Focus’, we’ll a take a look at Prediction League’s equivalent of Brian Clough. Clough started his managerial career at Hartlepool United aged only 30 – younger than both Joe Royle (32) and Lee Johnson (31) when they took the reigns at Latics – in the lower reaches of the football league. @Hometownclubbegan his Prediction League managerial career in the inaugural Prediction League season 2011/12 and despite a 6th place finish, was in the wake of the likes of @DavidCollinge, @Stevie_J & @Ex_pat, who were all to emerge as Prediction League’s big guns long before @Hometownclub @Hometownclub even disappeared from Prediction League’s radar for a while, like Clough struggled at Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United. When Clough took over at Nottingham Forest in 1975, Forest were languishing in mid table in the 2nd division. Within a short space of time, Clough had whipped Forest into shape and won the 2nd & 1st divisions in successive seasons, before going on to conquer Europe’s elite. @Hometownclub returned to Prediction League in 2016/17, immediately won the Championship and last season sealed his/her Brian Clough comparison by emphatically winning the Premier League. At the recent Prediction League awards ceremony @Hometownclub was even heard to say, “I wouldn't say I was the best Predictor in the business. But I am in the top one.” Rumours persist however that his/her success is intrinsically linked to an assistant, much like Clough’s was with Peter Taylor. The bigger Predictors have been trying to lure @Hometownclub's assistant away with lucrative paychecks, however to date @Hometownclub has hung on. Like Clough, @Hometownclubhankers after Cup success, which has to date eluded him/her. Let’s hope he/she doesn’t find a Nigel Jemson amongst the ranks, or everyone’s 2nd favourite Predictor might become OWTB’s 2nd Prediction League pariah, @24hoursfromtulsehill.
