I think its far too early to judge on how we'll finish as were still in september!! yes a couple of early defeats are dissapointing, doesnt mean we'll go down, (or up for that matter) but who would of thought after last years opening few games we would of gone on that run which led to us playing huddersfield (one of our bogey teams) off their own patch the way we did and then later on to be toppin the league in feb. So come on, lets get behind the lads over the next few games, who knows where this season will take us, and show the newbies in the squad that we'll get behind the team when they lose some games like this and hopefully this should rub off onto the team. COME ON YOU BLUESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

I were the mascot for an f.a cup tie against mansfield which i think we drew 2-2 then beat them at there place. Also if it counts, ive also been a mascot in a scottish fa cup tie for airdrie utd and it may have been against clyde, not to sure as it was at clyde but they did a groundshare for a while i wonder if im the first to do both fa cups???

Ive just had a brainwave and i dont know if its been asked for before and I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to make the players name you are ,depending on how many posts you have, into a link which when clicked would provide information about that player such as games played, goals scored, where are they know sort of stuff, as id like to find out about who some of these past players are, or maybe a different section, because no offence but whos david currie? lol

I think it was pretty brave to post something like that, all the lad was doing was speaking his mind, and i believe this is a place for speaking your mind. As for the post itself, i think what your saying is that coloured players are "quicker" to be slagged/booed by the bigoted minority we may still have/or have, and that, although you didnt say it, there are white players who have been booed just that these players seem to have been given a bit more patience due to their skin colour. There could be some truth in this as a possible/actual cause for coloured players seemingly given more stick quicker. All possibles and porbables i suppose, as im sure most latics fans ,who boo/slag players as a form of stick, would boo/slag a player on the basis of their ability while a small minority will do so because of skin colour yet whether this influences the larger majority to then boo/slag a player, i guess we'll never know for certain. Sorry for the essay style approach to my post, done plenty at uni so its a habit now when im writing. Hopefully you feel you got value for money as i get student loan lol i knew two years of sociology at college wud come in handy for something too lol

Its a shame as i thought he ran his heart out for the club but then again if we want to be serious promotion contenders a better finisher in the box is probably for the best. Shame we couldnt of had a game/or chance to know before the end of our season to send him off properly. On another note, as suggested by my mate, i wonder how many other clubs this season release their player of the season?? lol not a dig on the club like

I guess some people still need a scapegoat after games were we dont win, with rocky coming into a bit of good form i guess pogs is in the firing line. How some one could suggest that a latics player would try their best to mess a pass up needs their head testing and as far as i know pogs has no reason to have any bad blood against us to do such a thing, so i believe this is someone lookin to have a good moan over nothing
