  1. Why does sheridan appear to cop the blame for this? usual people with an axe to grind with shez, whether or not the stories are true/half true, at the end of the day these players are grown men and should behave responsibly, i highly doubt that shez has told the players "look lads go cause any trouble you like"! does sheridan have to look after each player individually and hold their hands? he's not their bloody social worker as well!!!
  2. Abolutely spot on roytoner. For me theres been a bad feeling with shez being at the helm since the end of last season when it seemed some wanted to see him go then. Our great start to the season musnt have been to their liking, and what do you know, our first defeat of the season in october to stockport, and im walking out of the ground and theres people already complaining about shez!! FFS!! Now i know its not exactly great football at the minute, and i fully agree, the performances recently turned in have been a shambles, and i dont begrudge those that wished to boo recently as i think those performances deserved it, but there is a reason why its called 'form'!! it can change! I can understand peoples frustrations, especially considering we pay to watch it but come on?? out of all these years following latics you would seriously consider not renewing now, when were in 5th place (with recent form barely i accept) than those years we've faced a relegation battle? so there was no bad performances at home games them years either? We all know shez, he has his faults, but doesnt any manager at this level? i suppose thats why they are at this level, as they have these faults. Some people assume jim gannon is the answer? how do we know for sure he doesnt have the same or similar sized faults to shez? just because he appears good in an area in which shez supposedly isnt doesnt mean he'll be a fantastic manager here and have the golden touch! At the end of the day id rather have shez here, hes a latic, he has his faults, but he does get the team to play some great football and thats a plus for me! Im not a happy clapper, i dont blindly cheer at every performance, good or bad, and i do recognise when we've played badly and it dissapoints and frustrates me when we do, but i do back the team, through thick and thin (if thats what you could call now) hell from some of the way posts are written on here, its almost as if they dont want the team to go up/do well so they can have a good moan and whinge! Now come on, im not calling for cheering off everyone, buts lets all back the lads from now till the end of the season no matter what and hopefully we'll cheer them onto promotion at wembely in may (i could be considered an optimist ) OH WHEN THE BLUESSSSSSSSSSS!!!
  3. I did, thought my ears were playing tricks on me!! clearly it aint following real life as neither scoreline we've played this season finished 4-0!
  4. I can hear them brakes slamming on here in Preston im still unconvinced, would he not decide to look at his own blog before agreeing for it to be put on, even if it is ghost written??
  5. After his blog today and that of last weeks il just say: GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
  6. I thought both teams were poor tonight, but to say leeds were better??????? i thought they were really poor tonight, us not much better!! out of any team in the playoffs, id have leeds as we'd take em easy on tonights showing along with our victory over them at ellenad road earlier this season!!
  7. What a complete lack of respect towards the club!! i dont mind him wanting to be back at hull his boyhood team, he can go now for all i care, but making his feelings public??? completely stupid if you ask me Thought you could have been a cult hero Deano, especially after leicester, but not now. Goodbye!!
  8. All together now when leeds visit: "Your :censored: and wer lovin it!!"
  9. Gotta agree with most of what you say, and good to hear someone so positive No doubt there will be the usual miserable sods who will provide their own list as to why things are so negative!!
  10. BBC Apparently the next ground has an unplayable outfield too?? i may have read it wrong though! In relation to today, what a farce, how they couldnt have just sent a few people out onto the pitch, do a couple of runs or whatever get a feel of it, this could have been avoided!
  11. Seeing as its an appropiate time as any, why not sing the : Give us a T, Give us an I, Give us a T, Give us a S, what does it spell, TITS, what do you do with them?? OLDHAM OLDHAM OLDHAM OLDHAM
  12. the pink panther theme tune? recognisble and easy to chant too
  13. No mention yet of our charity kit gesture on any national websites (at least the ones i checked, BBC sport and Sky sports) Anyone else had any luck?
  14. Didnt hear the Deano one but if i did id join in as ive got the words memorised lol ever since it was said it was gonna be sung at scunthorpe!! I think the taylor one is something like this: Chrissy taylor down the wing, taylor, taylor or running down the wing again talyor, taylor is the first line (not sure which) As above for the second line, then He'll take you left, he'll take you right He'll make you look F****N :censored:e Chrissy taylor runnin down the wing Something like that
  15. My thoughts exactly as we were singin it, after they got awarded the penalty which they didnt deserve to score due to our efforts, it felt like (for me anyway) an us against them mentality, helped with us being a man down plus even more so when the ref didnt award taylor a penalty!!
  16. I was proud to be there, to be singin the chants and holdin my shirt aloft with his name on the back (if you wonder it was off at the time as my cousin and a fair amount of consumed beverages persuaded me to take it off and wave it around lol) im glad we remembered to sing the songs that someone said we should do at games, especially for this one! top stuff guys ERNIE 4 ENGLAND!!!!!
  17. Glad you came to see a real club with real support!! sorry couldnt resist a dig glad you as an individual enjoyed the day out!
  18. I had me top off at one point, though i dont think it helped my chances as ive not been told i was spotted lol
  19. 14/20 like above, i stumbled on some of the meaning ones and the whose/who's one's!
  20. I don't see the problem with any sport in the world tbh (at least any of the ones mentioned here), me personally i just love sport, i think if you sit down and try to grasp the basics of any game it can be enjoyed. I dont think its possible to enjoy a sport with knowing whats going on, and for me thats what i felt with the NFL before i started to be able to watch games. Didnt have a clue what was going on and was bored out me head, but ive eventually stuck with it, figured out the basics and now enjoy watching it when i do! same with any other, love the cricket, can watch baseball (those two i love because you can make a day of it and enjoy longer is the way i see it) rugby league is my second sport, can watch the union, mainly international, like basketball and ice hockey, enjoy the tennis, and dont mind the golf!! basically i love sport if you hadnt guessed dont get why people have to diss other sports, don't see what it gains?? as some one once said "cant we all just get along???" lol come on now one big group hug (P.S. before any smart arses claim ive missed out football, id hope you'd take it as a given that you would think it would be my main and favourite sport!!!)
  21. id be impressed if we managed to pull a thousand over, mainly cos the last away game was a 5-0 drubbing at hereford. Now i can easily forgive (mainly becos i didnt go ) though i doubt others will, but hey i hope im wrong and we do take that amount!! would be good!
  22. As of 2:30 ish today when i went for mine an me coach ticket. im pushing for us having around 300-400 which aint too bad, tends to be a better singin atmosphere with smaller numbers, heres to a latics victory and the debut airing of deano's new song NA NAR NA NAR NA NAR NA NAR
  23. Sounds good to me, doesnt bother me too much if its not original, dont get me wrong if i do like it when we make a song we can call our own, but if it sounds good then why not? plus the song is a bit more tounge in cheek than torres's song "his contract says he's paid in pies, deano, deano!!" at least the words are different. My only problem is, as much as i wuold learn the two verse's for it, it may be easier to get others to join in with the words if its cut down to one verse (for the time being anyway, possibly add another verse if it takes off???) NA NAR NA NAR NA NAR NA NAR
  24. Seem to have them absolutley stumped on the shoe waving thing im not wholly sure of the origins myself but i know there wrong when they seem to think were making fun of their financial situation, dunno how they came to that conclusion Under the thread titled "oldham fans....."
