No offence taken. I've been watching latics and football for nearly 50 years. I've always been able to enjoy each game as its own entity. Occasionally on here someone will ask what has changed over time in football. My view for what its worth is that fans no longer live in the here and now. It's not about today's game. Everyone in with a chance has at least one game against one of the other contenders except carlisle. They are the bench mark really and should expect to get 70 points which would mean we have to win all 3.then again they didnt expect to lose at Grimsby. If Carlisle slip up 68 could be enough with our superior goal difference. Lincoln play Colchester and Newport so let's hope they're not already on their holidays.

I am surprised at today's home turn out to be honest Bank holidays can go either way on attendance. We are not at the top of the table and our chances of play offs are hppefull at best however we do play attacking football and have some good players. It gives hope that we could attract slightly bigger crowds.
