Exactly this, I renew every year. And for the last couple of years it's been :censored:ing :censored:. Not just :censored:, really :censored:. I have nothing but sympathy for those who have deserted.

To me he will be like every other striker I really wanted us to sign but didn't. Inevitably when he slides home Chesterfield's 3rd in a 3-1 win I'll just kind of shrug. The same way I did when countless other strikers I wanted to sign for OAFC scored against us.

I'm more concerned about the idea of allocated seating. Causes nothing but problems

As a good friend of mine said, Erwin is likely to be the best striker we've ever had who will never score a goal. I hope he learns soon to stop trying to walk it in and shoot more often. I've seen at least 3/4 occasions this season where Flynn has waited for the cutback to shoot and Erwin has taken it one step too far and been dispossessed. Great player in the making at this level with the right nurturing.

I disagree somewhat, it's early days but there has been a few promising displays. Players seem more connected with fans than in recent times. Yeah sure some have temporary contracts. Rather that than another Cassidy, Purdey any day. I suspect Fane will be long gone before Klok mind

The fact we have paid fees for players shows they aren't quite screwing us all over. I was surprised how many from the protest group who weren't attending actually been.

Which is why there should have been a dedicated "singing section" in the Chaddy. I was for the RRE switch but it's evident when fans singing are in a block together in the Chaddy it's bloody loud. The issue is if it switches back it'll just blend into a low sound as before.

Big apathy, remembrance or not. Let's not forget, whilst in my opinion there are a lot of positives on the playing front compared to last season. There is still an awful lot of investment to be done to bring the stay aways back. Until you get that 20 goal striker and a play off push on the go it simply will not happen. Sure, we might get a cup run and the usual Merseyside encounter but the floater will only be around for one or two games. Changing manager and squads every six to twelve months gives the team no identity. It's my belief people will casually come back when we put a run together especially at home. I don't think it'll happen soon though.
