  1. Great point that dominated most of second half, Burn looks decent him and Wilson linked up well, Brian Wilson the only weak link in that team today, Winchester quite. Good subs by DK Cassidy gave everything give ther CBs a tough game quality ball to Forte. Our midfield is so strong hope we keep hold of all of them Jones, Kelly, Dunn is what we should stick with going forward. Forte and Croft on the wings Cassidy up top.

  3. Matt Chambers confirms on Twitter we are expected to make an experienced signing tomorrow
  4. This is why I think we will still lose a couple DK has made signings that he dident really need to make if Winchester is staying why did we need Green there 2 of the same player ? He has not yet addressed the main priority which is defence we only have 2 pro CBs contracted to the club, where will Murphy, Philliskirk, Poleon, Bove, Tuhoy, Byrnes, Green fit in this would be my team from our current squad Coleman Wilson. Wilson. Dieng. Mills Kelly Croft. Winchester Jones. Forte Turner Don't like one up front but wouldent want to leave any one of those midfielders out, not seen Green play yet so he gets a place on the bench for me, I'd also love to see a Cassidy/Poleon strike partnership as I think that could work well but then that leaves out Turner !!! I think it's fair to say we have plenty of options in attack but we still need a couple of defenders CB/RB and another winger Hiwat maybe ? Bench : Cornell Brown Truelove Green Poleon Edmundon Cassidy
  5. What's Andy Liddell up to these days ?
  6. Rachubka looking likely to leave Crewe he's after more of a coaching role apparently but will still play on, I'd have him back as a no2 to Coleman and we would be getting a coach and a player for one wage ?
  7. Looks a good prospect from what I've seen scored a belter for Tranmere least season on his debut on loan, looks to have decent feet, but can he do it on a cold Tuesday night in Southend ? interesting to see if he can make the step up to League 1 first team football here's hoping, could also generate a decent fee in the future if he's any good
  8. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32812171 Carlisle have been approached by a billionare wanting to invest into the club, not sure if it's a wind up but how lucky would that be for them ! Just shows you that there are people willing to invest in the smaller clubs
  9. Ipswich release Noel Hunt and Stephen Hunt Irish connection ? Also wouldent mind Richard Chaplow from Millwall
  10. Watmore was mentioned and his reply was watch this space if he could get him he would defiantly have him, he also said he knows a few fantastic players some of them friends that could play the no 10 role and do a very good job, so I suppose we "watch the space"
  11. Shocked with this, he could be the next best thing what do we know ? but once again Corney has chosen the cheap option, I'll give him a chance but it's so important for him that he gets off to a really good start or thier will be chaos ! Can imagine a fair few will give it a miss next season after this unless we start off well, baffled as to how this guy will work can't imagine he will have many decent contacts ? What signings will he make ? Also cant imagine he will command much respect from players as he hadent had the best of careers and only previous coaching experience with kids ! I just hope and pray
  12. Apparently Rosler is going to be Klops assistant at Man City when he takes over next season
  13. Corney should offer Neil Redfearn the job, it's looking unlikely he's going to be at Leeds next season with his contract expiring, he's also had his assistant taken away from him by the clown of an owner and 6 first teamers have been told they can't play today, if we offered him the role here he could have full control of team affairs/transfers worth a punt ?
  14. He needs a goal to give him a little boost Philly is a massive confidence player and at the minute the confidence isent thier when he's on form hes a very good player for this league
  15. £150 season tickets for them but we wouldent see anywhere near 13,000 if we did tickets at £100
  16. We also had the best away record in the division that season so that argument is irrelevant for anyone who brings up that our plastic pitch got us promotion
  17. Sadler comes across really well in the interviews he's quite a confident lad, he's already had two since he's been here, probably one of the only ones that can be botherd to talk, they always seem at bit forced and awkward with some of the other players
  18. Swap Kelly for Philly Coleman Kusunga Gerrard. Lockwood. Sadler Kelly Woodland Winchester. Jones Wilkinson. Forte Although Turner bagged two on Tuesday I wouldent rate his chances against the brutes that Bradford have, this will be a physical battle and Wilkinson will be more appropriate for this game can bring Turner on later for his pace, same goes for Conner, I know he's in really good form but id go with Kusunga at RB for this one he impressed on his cameo on Tuesady and I think he's technically a better player then Brown anyway. Sadler stays in for me we look a lot more solid defensively with him.
  19. Found few clips of Devante Jacobs goals on YouTube these 2 against Wigan were outstanding finishes great piece of skill to create the first one to
  20. Warbuton won't be coming to Oldham, he's just took Brentford from League 1 to the the fringes of the playoffs in the Champipnship, he'll be in demand when he leaves at the end of the season, clubs a lot bigger than ours will be queuing for his signature !
  21. It was a shambles but what do you expect ? We had Connor Brown playing on the wing a CM (loan player) who played his second professional game tonight a keeper that can't catch (loan player) and another kid from Bolton (loan player) thrown up top on his own against two vetatran CBs, I expect to see at least some passion (bar Mike Jones) and organisation but I dident see any of that either tonight, most of them look as if they've give up
  22. Corneys been trying to sell the club for years, he's stuck until someone decent turns up with a solid offer and a plan, he doesent want to see the club fall into the hands of another Moore and I respect him for that. Once the stand is up we may get a few more suitors, it is of paramount importance that we stay up this season we should have survived comfortablely but the board have shown a defeatist attitude towards the club by not replacing LJ, now Deano is stuck in a relegation dogfight with no players he has no managerial experience, we are in a rut, the attitude shown by the board has transmitted to the players on the pitch, I really do fear now. I think we will just about scrape survival this year but SC has played a dangerous game and I really do hope it doesent come and bite us, we will lose potential manager/investor interest our budgets will be slashed massively and our fan base will be broken it's already started to detiorate looking at tonight's attendance.
