A lot of "this ageing placid fan base" (not me) have done all this kind of thing before, and actually done it - Stop the Rot etc... What is it going to take to get our young, angry fan base away from their phones thinking they've done their bit through a few tweets and a few messages on here?

So this needs to be a lot more focused with one or two very specific, deliverable actions and/or demands rather than a long list of bollocks like that was. Also any such "group" needs to have one or two strong "leaders" speaking who can be to the point and get a message across rather than let it descend into the traditional OAFC thing of loads of cock measuring plantpots telling the room how long they've supported the club and raising silly points. "This is what we're doing, this is when, this is what we need people to help with, this is how we want people to get the message out......" - keep it that simple.

But they look shit so far. Benteke had legs, urgency and effort. We've always had a pretty large section of our support that has valued legs, urgency and effort over quality. Running around a lot is not much good to a team unless such a workhorse is surrounded by other quality, and lots of it. Even with how cheap most of this large squad of absolute punts must be we could surely have signed 8 "proper" players and padded them out with kids and punts for the same money... So, so stupid.. Yet again.

I believe you have to show a certain amount of money in a bank account. Whether or not they would follow a procedure to establish where it came from and how long it's been there I'm not sure. Nor am I sure whether they would check it was still there the day after....

It baffles me (ok it doesn't really) that people are still struggling with this. We're simply going from a disinterested BrassBank owning it from the US and continuing to do nothing with it to 3+ local businessmen, all genuine longstanding supporters, looking to buy it and maximise it's use. Whether or not they do ultimately want to take over the lot strikes me as irrelevant if Abdallah doesn't want or need to sell. Would there be any issue with any of it if Abdallah had sat down months ago and simply negotiated a deal all were happy with (or willing to live with)?

He seems to be getting better and better with every passing week since those halcyon days he was firing us to mid table obscurity between being injured and going AWOL....

This has been our problem for so, so long. And a striker who scores 10 by Christmas can go for way more in January than a George Edmundson can in the summer following a solid whole season

Went to the Main Stand bar at half time - cans of Carling, Dark Fruits, some similarly rank bitter, nothing on draught... I didn't bother. My lad wanted a pie so we then made our way to the kiosk at the other end, it was shut. Back in the stand I asked a steward where I needed to go for food - "there isn't any food because of an issue with the Fan Led Group over there [points at North Stand]" Somebody has decided not to use the pie serving tackle in the Main Stand kiosk(s) and then somebody has actually spoke to the stewards and told them to say that. It's beyond cringey...

I had a funny feeling this might be the case Where's that from so I can email them? I bought the home top, season ticket in hand, and said "I believe I get a discount with a season ticket" The lady said no and even gave an explanation that I didn't quite take in.... So annoying yet so predictable... The new MD and new Commercial bloke were both right there too. Never change....
