Running around a lot is not much good to a team unless such a workhorse is surrounded by other quality, and lots of it. Even with how cheap most of this large squad of absolute punts must be we could surely have signed 8 "proper" players and padded them out with kids and punts for the same money... So, so stupid.. I believe you have to show a certain amount of money in a bank account. Whether or not they would follow a procedure to establish where it came from and how long it's been there I'm not sure. Nor am I sure whether they would check it was still there the day after....

It baffles me (ok it doesn't really) that people are still struggling with this. We're simply going from a disinterested BrassBank owning it from the US and continuing to do nothing with it to 3+ local businessmen, all genuine longstanding supporters, looking to buy it and maximise it's use. Whether or not they do ultimately want to take over the lot strikes me as irrelevant if Abdallah doesn't want or need to sell. Would there be any issue with any of it if Abdallah had sat down months ago and simply negotiated a deal all were happy with (or willing to live with)?

Went to the Main Stand bar at half time - cans of Carling, Dark Fruits, some similarly rank bitter, nothing on draught... I didn't bother. My lad wanted a pie so we then made our way to the kiosk at the other end, it was shut. Back in the stand I asked a steward where I needed to go for food - "there isn't any food because of an issue with the Fan Led Group over there [points at North Stand]" Somebody has decided not to use the pie serving tackle in the Main Stand kiosk(s) and then somebody has actually spoke to the stewards and told them to say that. It's beyond cringey...

I had a funny feeling this might be the case Where's that from so I can email them? I bought the home top, season ticket in hand, and said "I believe I get a discount with a season ticket" The lady said no and even gave an explanation that I didn't quite take in.... So annoying yet so predictable... The new MD and new Commercial bloke were both right there too. Never change....
