  1. Placide binned. Service resumed, there's WiFi by the pool and the beach bar.
  2. Miller added. Sorry for the unconscionable delay but I'm on holiday and the all inclusive restaurants and beer on the balcony trump even OWTB.
  3. Sheridan started his scholarship in April 2016 so I don't think he had another year to go. I'm assuming the scholars who were let go were Whalley, Dry, Arthur, Antoine, Lent and Boyling.
  4. Three. Iversen, Graham, Surridge. Can have five in a matchday squad IIRC.
  5. Added O'Grady. Anyone know what shirt number he's got?
  6. Benteke re-signs. Will update the first post in a second.
  7. We change most of the squad each summer, and have just changed the entire backroom staff, the owner and most/all of the directors. Not sure how many heads are left unrolled!
  8. Nah, can't be doing keeping track of another squad as well!
  9. He's still a second year scholar, can be added to the squad anytime.
  10. Yeah, that's the kind of about-face you have to make when you offer 40-year contracts. Back to the Premier League by 2038!
  11. Just need Steve Evans as director of football and Cellino as chair and the four horseman of the football league will be complete.
  12. Woah. It's like Candyman. You say his name three times and he appears.
  13. PS when researching former players, I noticed that Chris Hall is now going by the name "Chord Melodic". What the actual f–?
  14. Shame this is only for Latics players - I could do a "(Pint of) Best" XI otherwise (Oliver Beerhoff, Hakan Mild, Lars Lagerback...). Anyway. Best youth products: G Andy Goram D Andy Barlow D Neal Eardley D Will Haining (or maybe Richard Graham) D James Tarkowski M Paul Bernard M John Eyre M Nick Henry M Mike Milligan M Chris Taylor F Carl Valentine or Alan Young (sorry Scott Vernon) Rules for this best XI: they can't have made a senior appearance for another club before joining us. Youth education somewhere else is okay though.
  15. 9 whole places up the chart! He could be number 1 by Christmas.
  16. Some gaps available: 1. 2. Cameron Dummigan 3. Andy Taylor 4. George Edmundson 5. Anthony Gerrard 6. Dan Gardner 7. Giles Coke 8. Jose Baxter 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. Zeus De La Paz 14. 15. 16. 17. Christopher Missilou 18. Sam Graham 19. Johny Placide 20. Jamie Stott 21. Courtney Duffus (on loan at Waterford FC) 22. Johan Branger-Engone 23. Rob Hunt 24. Ousmane Fane 25. Chinedu Uche 26. Peter Clarke 27. Gevaro Nepomuceno 28. Mohamed Maouche 29. Jack Byrne 30. 31. 32. 33. Jay Sheridan 34. Tom Hamer
