What a strange season so far. We've won the same amount of games as the team at the bottom of the league but have lost less than teams in the top 6.

I've read things were much better at Vale, but rewarded with a permanent contract after 4 successive draws? I know that means we haven't lost in 4, so please don't use that as an argument. Isn't it funny how opinions change? Only a few years back, the rugby were criticised for being the main cause of our pitch problems. Every week in the Chaddy, you'd hear moans and groans about the Bears or the Roughyeds 'wreckin' the f'in pitch'. One promotion later, and there's a strong support for their return. Personal opinion? The football is bad enough on grass. It won't get any better on sand and mud. And if rent is still owed from years gone by, it's a no no. Congrats to the rugby, though. It's about time the town celebrated sporting success again.
