So if we start booing we will eventully become world beaters? I thought we were where we are because of poor crowds, bad management both past and present, no income other than said poor crowds, lack of real money to spend on squad, the three stands and many other things. Oldham is a club with 3500 season ticket holders, a town on it's arse and a club that's following suit which is usually the case. But if it we're poor because a fans clap the players off the pitch, then we should be able to put it right soon seeing as some are already starting to boo.

Everyone says look at the starting 11 and it proves we have a good budget, we have 3 players I would consider too good for League 1. Baxter, Derbyshire and Croft two loans and two on short term deals, the rest of the squad is made up of average League 2 players to good League 1 players. Look at the bench today, with a bigger budget the squad would be Baxter, Derbyshire and Croft's level of quality.

I had the very same thought a few months back, would be a great way to honour Latics who've passed away as well as providing us the chance to be part of the stadium. The step idea is a great one too.

In fairness though you say that like it would take minutes, it could take at least an hour or more and which already overworked member of staff should increase their workload? People should get responses but they don't, besides speaking as someone who has applied for many jobs and not heard from the vast majority I prefer not getting a letter with the fake apology and promise.

Both are quality but Deano has a better relationship with the fans because he just funny to watch, he celebrates with passion when we score and always salutes the fans. If at 18 year old I felt I could force my way into a World Cup I'd do it, it's pretty odd that he's disliked for wanting to play. Also it's pretty rude to come onto a club's fan forum page; openly admit that you want both to be playing at a higher level, question our judgement over guys we see every week live and take offence when people see your constant belittling of a guy as anything but a personal attack. Also isn't Brad Jones an Aussie? Just you haven't mentioned him from what I've seen.

Croft

Lets lay off the ballboy, he hasn't accused anyone from what I've seen and was listening to fans and senior players. A silly thing to do, but we all do silly stuff as teenagers.

Not sure, saw it last night there was no picture and very few other Tweets but it said Lee Croft didn't racially abuse me it's just rumours #oafc. What's strange is how the United players reacted, someone said he was told by a player he heard Croft call him a n***** well if an Oldham player ever hears a player call a ballboy a racist slur at BP I expect them to defend him. Also going off the tv shots, the fans didn't react like a 14 year old just suffered racist abuse and niether did the kid to be fair. Also claims of him being pushed by Croft are clearly 100% lies, when he is proven to be innocent I want Latics to take action against United for poor stewarding that allowed a fan to be in a position where he could have attacked a player, I hope Croft consults his lawyers about slander and when they come to BP were batter them on the pitch.

It was a United throw in, but in fairness to the ballboy he has said he didn't hear anything. Also a Twitter account claiming to be him said Croft didn't abuse him racially.

Hopefully he is proven innocent, but if not then he should be banned but I have my doubts to how true it is.

The pairing isn't the problem it's how they're being used, but in answer to the OP I'd prefer him gone now. If we got a draw against Crewe that wouldn't change a win against PNE and some more off the back of it then he's ok.

It annoys me how much joy some 'fans' get for seemingly being right about Dickov, more happy about being right than anything else. I'd rather be seen as a happy clapper, then a knob with a superioty complex personally. Happy clappers enjoy the game more, and aren't as poor company.
